    Default Mapau Webmaster Program

I have been informed that Mapau will not payout earnings to a webmaster if he/she has not fulfilled two conditions.
    1. At least $500 earned
    2. At least 5 real players referred

Now, I have only referred 3 players but my earnings are quite substantial.
Not that it should be an issue, these earnings are not due to one highroller,
    all three have turned over.
So, now I have to wait till I actually have sent another two players.
This would mean I have to wait until September to receive my July payment.

I find this really harsh towards webmasters.

Boy thats the first time I have ever seen that...

So what they are saying is - even though youve been in the business for years and make thousands of dollars for both themselves and many other casinos your not officially a "webmaster" in their eyes until you send them 5 players?? :shake: .

When you say substantial I assume its at least a couple grand.
Im the type of person who slowly integrates a casino into the "fabric" of my sites because
a: I dont know if they perform
b: I dont know if they pay
c: Im not going to displace a sponsor I know treats me right for someone I dont know until THEY have proven themselves(not the other way around).
Because of this Im doing the same with Sunnys group. It only makes good business sense. It may be a while before I get to 5 players because of this and if I catch a whale (its been known to happen ) next month they arent going to pay me until i reach 5 players ?!?!?! Im not sure they are going to work out for me.

To many other casinos to promote that dont think that way...... Im sorely disappointed because I really expected great things from this program. I even gave them some review space which I normally dont do for at least 6 months....

My question is - do they care enough to change that policy....?

I hope Sunny pays you. I personally don't have much faith in them. They have spammed my directories for years and won't stop despite repeated emails to "Karen Soloman". When folks dont market resposibly it makes you wonder about how they would administer an affiliate program....

Wow! Thanks for the heads up Peralis.... I had recently joined several of that groups casinos but have not put up banners yet.

I promote land based casinos on 52 sites... because of this I usually don't get very many players. I usually get one or two "whales" to use someone elses term.

If that line doesn't change in the T&Cs I am not going to be able to promote this casino either.

This is the T&C we're talking about here -
*A webmaster is defined as a person who has referred at least 5 Real Active players. A webmaster may refer himself, as long as he is one of the 5 people. In no case shall a webmaster receive bonuses or commission if he/she is a referral from his/her webmaster account and the total Active Real membership is less than 5.
This is garbage. I know that Peralis' 3 players earned him a little over $2k, and now you're holding it as ransom in case you can't convert any more players he sends you??? :fire:

It is not OUR job to convert the players - it's yours. It is not OUR job to retain the players - it's yours. It is not OUR job to keep the players depositing after we've sent them, and you've converted them - it's YOURS!!!

When I was solicited by Sunny Group for their casinos, my email was sent to me as a 'webmaster'. Apparently, I'm not even that yet, in their eyes.

This policy needs to be changed and PUBLISHED ASAP!! If it's not, Sunny casinos are coming off my sites, and many others' here.

I normally read through the T&C very carefully before signing up for a casino but I allowed Sunnys rep to blind me to this appalling rule.

My sites are similar to Blackhawks, low turnover but a few good players - there's no way on earth I'm going to continue promoting Sunny Casinos when I might not get paid for 3 months or more - the banners are coming down as soon as I finish this post.

I will say, I do have to agree. This is total BS. Since Sunny has such a sterling rep for the way they treat their players, how is this possible? Or is this a case of 'don't look behind the curtain'.

I have suspended all the banners to this reaches an amicable conclusion. The way Playtech is dropping casinos on the market, there is no shortage if you seek the software to promote.

And on a personal note, I was a WEBMASTER long before Sunny started their online casinos and will be, long after they are gone.

I have to agree with DVS007.. (not the face remark)

That would just defeat the purpose. We shouldn't have to resort to such tactics just to get what's due to us.

I'll be pulling all banners and links very soon.....As stated before, i believe they resisted allowing affiliates other than the BIG GUYS for quite a while.
Traffic got tight with the credit card issue and such, and Sunny has devised a program designed to reap new affiliates traffic and not have to share in the profits......Just my two-cents....Jerry

I have to agree with the others on this one. $500 in commissions and
5 players depositing in order to be considered a "webmaster" and
receive a check is too much. Something needs to be changed, IMO.
When gambling online, make sure to look
for the best casino gambling bonuses.

DVS, you wrote to Natasha when? If we don't get a response here in the next 24 hours, they're coming off my site. Lack of response clearly tells us what they think of us, doesn't it?

Yeah - I dropped her a line after the webmasters starting dropping them. Oh well - the longer she waits to resolve the issue....

    Default sunny group

I had considered promoting them but now I sure won't.

Maybe we need to go over the conditions of all the playtech casinos more carefully.

I am guilty of not always reading these things carefully - most programs are decent.

This is really out there. Shame on you, Sunny Group!

Does playtech provide guidelines to their casinos?

I have some of their banners up, but haven't started to REALLY promote them. I was going to give them some additional exposure on my next page update, but I guess this will not happen unless they change this policy. The few banners I have up will be removed shortly.
