This is Natasha Wallace , I manage the Affiliate Program for Sunny Casinos.
As you all may know Sunny Casino was one of the First Casinos to go online and we have NEVER had an Affiliate program until now. Naturally we are cautious.

I have personally introduced myself to each of you and provided you with my contact info including a Tolll Free no: 1 888 349 3571 should you have any concerns.
I personally want to make this the most lucrative Affiliate program on the Net both for Sunny and for all of you but I can only do it with dialogue.

And this is why I am dissapointed in what I am reading here especially from Kevin.

I cannot understand why Kevin would make this sort of posting. At the end
of July I personally called Kevin to tell him that his payment would not be
made until the end of August because he had not satisfied all the
conditions. I asked him if he was OK with this and at this point he never
indicated to me that there was a problem. Had he done so and expressed his concerns we could have
sorted this out there and then without going through all of this. There are some things that cannot change but there are others that can and we are reasonble and only want success for all.

We have 4 affiliates in their first month who received cheques in excess of $3500 , one of them with 5 members , there is no question of affiliates being paid or not.

Kevin and I have a good rapport and I hope willl continue to do so.

So My Dear Affilliates, I have heard your opinions and have already gone to management who have advised me to change it to 'either $500 or 5 members".

Kevin , I will write to you directly now to confirm payment as I am unable to reach you by phone.

Once again , please work with me and we can make this work for all of us. Feel free to call me anytime in office 1 888 349 3571 or mobile: 1 868 753 4574.

    Regards
    Natasha

    Natasha,

I felt that this was definately something that the webmasters should be made aware of as I don't think it struck anybody that these were the original conditions. (As the reactions testify)

After our converstaion regarding payment, I sent you an email about 5 minutes later expressing my feelings regarding the conditions, to this I received no response, and still have not.
On the phone it did not dawn on me what you had said until we had said goodbye. This is why I sent the email straight away to tell you this.

I waited almost two days before I posted on the public boards.

But before we start a you said - I said debate here, I will call you on Monday when I am in the office so that we can settle this in an amicable and productive way so that we can move forward.

    cheers

    Hi Kevin,

I want to assure you that I never received your email or else I would have promptly responded. It is not my desire to have affiliates who are unhappy and as such I would have attempted to sort this out ASAP.

Kevin, while I understand that everyone may not have been aware it was at all times clearly posted on our site and the option of reading was left to the affiliate.

I am very sorry again I did not receive your mail. Nevertheless were will sort this out and I have already sent you a personal email. I will call you on Monday AM.

    Natasha

    Hi Natasha,
Thank you for coming to address this. I can verify that we waited for a couple of days after Kevin wrote you, before we posted this in the Public Forums. On most issues we try to handle them privately before taking them public; however, some issues also need to be brought to the attention of non-member webmasters. I'm glad to see that you've changed the policy - has it been changed and published in your T&C's yet? I haven't been to look.

I would also like to address the $500 minimum payout, tho. We've addressed this privately with several of the Playtech casinos, who have made exceptions. The $500 minimum payout is a very poor Playtech general provision, and serves no one except the casino. It also deters many webmasters from promoting your casinos, big ones included. If Playtech wants to gain a really positive image in the eyes of their free salesforce, they'll rewrite this policy.

As to the affiliate's responsibility to read the T&C's, you are correct. However, even some of the most careful of us missed this, as Sunny has enjoyed a good reputation and we were all more than happy to jump on the bandwagon when your aff program became available. Was it our mistake to trust your intentions? Actually, most Playtech's casinos have their general provisions as their contract; your group must have rewritten that clause.

I'm thinking maybe GPWA needs someone to start reviewing all contracts prior to any of us signing with any casino.

    Default Mapau Affiliate Program

    Hello Cynthia,

It is always nice to correspond with my affiliates, although I would prefer more favourable circumstances. :-?

I just want to reiterrate that I never received the mail. I am sure all my affiliates who have written to me thus far can testify that I NEVER leave their mails unanswered!

Cynthia, while I would obviously have liked to sort this out quietly I understand FULLY that it is the duty of each affiliate to look out for another. It is your right and obligation and I respect each and every one of you for that.

Just as well, please understand that once you implement Terms and Conditions it is your duty to stick by them unless you have cause to believe that they are unfair and at this point it is your duty to decide your next move.

This is why we at Sunny Casinos have decided to change to either $500 or 5 players. I understand that many of you still have concerns and we will continue to strive for success for all.

Please note that the condition would be amended by next Tuesday.

    Best Regards to all

Maybe I read your email wrong, but the one I got this morning said:

I have since been speaking to Management and they have decided to reduce the conditions to 3 players and $100, as their final offer.

I would like to get some feedback from you as to your thoughts on these new terms.

Please write me at your earliest convenience and let me know what you think.
Here is what I think. I think I saw your previous post about 500 minimum OR 5 players to get paid.

I think, this sounds like a compromise, one with which I could deal with. So last night I updated my coloradocasinos.net page which currently (for how long?) has a 125x125 banner on the main page, and has Mapau in our recommended casinos list.

I think this morning I don't like getting spun in a circle so fast.

Now it is 3 players and $100.

Personally I like the either / or idea. (3 players or $500).... that way if you get several small players -- you get paid. If you get one large spender -- you get paid.

The way you have it set up is "meet our requirements and then you get paid" why are you afraid to pay us when you made the majority of the profit? All we ask is for our earnings to be paid and not squandered in someone elses bank account for an undertermined amount of time.

    Sick of this,
    Bernard Richter

ps: nothing personal, I just can't promote a group that give me whiplash. I spent all night arranging things on that site. (one of my over 60 sites, that is.)

    Default Affiliate Terms

    Hello Bernard,

Our change was simply in an effort to further compromise ourselves. What we had decided on was either $500 or 5 players. A lot of your fellow affiliates did not take the $500 Term to lightly and as such we were forced to go back to the boards.

We thought it to be an equal compromise to drop to $100 as long and there were substantial players to back this – initially our idea of a substantial amount of players were 5 but because we have realized that this is a bit harsh we chose 3.

Having a player minimum safeguards us from fraud in one way or another. Let me assure you that it is not, never was and never will be our intention to ‘hold’ monies that does not belong to us.

Bernard I want to assure you that at no time have I underestimated the affiliate community and it is not my intention to undermine any of you.

As I’ve said before I will continue to strive for success and fairness for all.

I hope that you would consider remaining our partners!

Please feel free to contact me if you any other concerns.

    Have a good day,

One thing about Sunny is that Natasha has been brilliant!. There are not many places where you will get an affiliate manager /ess that will go to such lengths to try and accomodate their affiliates. This is definately a huge plus.

My issue has been resolved as to regards payment, and will definately continue promoting Sunny Casinos for the main reason that they have great people working there.

Talking Mapau - Business as Usual

I don't mind the wait for commissions. This helps Mapau reduce their administration work. The following conditions are perfect:
    1. At least $500 earned
    2. At least 5 real players referred

To find the above conditions harsh towards webmasters is seeing the glass half empty!

Any program that requires $500 minimum for affiliates to get paid is WAY behind the times.

Matthewt, you have responded to a thread that is over 4 years old and i think that this is definately not the minimum amount any longer.

I feel VERY strongly about recommending affiliate programs EVERYWHERE reducing their minimums for all affiliates.

Most affiliates work very hard at this, and some are obviously much more successful than others. Why should an affiliate (that may or may not be new in the business) that works just as hard or harder than the next guy maybe never see a single dime from a prgram just because he didn't meet the minimum payment threshold?

This is MOST important to new affilliates. They may not have enough going on at enough properties to yet earn a decent living, and they need to get paid as soon as possible as much as possible from whatever programs they can.

When I consult with new affilliates, I actually recommend both the best converting....AND best paying programs. Part of the criteria for a program to be considered the best paying are those programs that pay affiliates what they earn no matter what that amount may be. (Granted, having a minimum in the $25 to $100 is considered reasonable)

For those programs that still have in their terms of service that affilliates must meet a minmum of 500 or are required to send a certian number of new players, I STRONGLY URGE affiliates to steer clear of those groups. (especially new affiliates)

It is my sincere hope that one day all affiliate programs will see the value of working closely with all affiliates, no matter how big or small they are.

    I agree, Rick.

That minimum player rule is a scam to ripoff affiliates, especially the ones who make the rule after an affiliate has signed up!! Holding players hostage for trying to force affiliates to do anything to get them players is unethical and unconscionable as well.
