You hit that right, there are many affiliates that work hard.
But I don't think they're the average
Affiliate marketing attracts a ton of people. A lot of hopefuls that want to quit their day job and live the lifestyle we enjoy.
The thing is, it seems easier from the outside than it actually is: "let me put up some content and I'll make tons of affiliate money!"
Here's a real quote from someone on a forum I follow:
"Thank You XXXXXX, You don’t know how much this means to me. I have spent about $30000. in one year jumping all over the place, and yes I am about to declare bankrupcy. I have done nothing but trying to learn how but then something new comes along and the rest is history.
The only good of it is now i don’t have the money any more to jump around so now I have to use what I have and that’s it."
I have also personally heard a lady who bought multiple websites and paid 2 000$ for an online marketing course.. and she didn't know ANYTHING about online marketing. Like, she didn't even know where to host the websites.
So.. The worst aff manager definitively works harder than the average affiliate. Much respect to them, except the scammers.
PS:
Here's another sad one..
"XXXXX,What a breath of fresh air! My family is about ready to throw either me or the computer out the window. I have drained my retirement savings buying into program after program but still don’t know how to market and profit.Like many others state. there is information overload but getting from a to b is the main problem. I look foreward to your videos and hope to make that first $500. Mxxxx"
