Default Moving on to Casinos soon..

I dont see many people on here in the Bingo sector, all i see is Casino portals.

Would you say Casinos are more profitable? Or is it more a man thing not to run a Bingo site

I only target the UK market and looking to expand my online affilaite empire in to Casinos soon.

As I am already quite okish in Bingo affilaite marketing, what would be your best advice to give me going in to the casino scene?

In my opinion, there is WAY much more money to be made in casinos rather than bingo.

    Why do you ask?

If you get a player under your affiliate link that blows $1000 in a matter of 10 minutes playing a $5 - 3 Reel Slot Machine, playing max bet, each bet will be $15. They could lose that in 10-15 minutes.

    On the othor hand....

Bingo games take much longer to play, and the amounts to "buy in" to the games is not nearly as much.

I would highly recommend hitting the casino market. And, as I read in your above post, you already have a client base in the UK, which is an excellent part of the world to target, you may be able to get some of your bingo players over the casinos that you promote.

Make sure to choose a reputable casino affiliate program. The GPWA has some excellent ones, and if you go to the homepage and look at the "Platinum" affiliate programs, try some of those. They have excellent conversion rates, and excellent player retention, and the customer relations with your affiliate manager are excellent.

Lastly, although you are only hitting the UK markets, I would highly recomment trying and getting into the Asian and Canadian markets as well, as they are very lucrative at this time as well.

    Cheers and Best Of Luck,

    Smile Bingo and Casinos

I chose to add both bingo and casinos to my site. Casinos in my opinion make more money yet if any bingo fans come to the site they wont be dissapointed

    Maybe this is true.
Certainly BINGO holds no interest for me - and yet I've never played it.
    So it's possibly a genrder bias - I don't get it - so I don't promote it?

But there are other considerations too ...

    (1) Revenue
Bingo is like poker - STT or MTT tournament buys ins.
Pay your entry - play your card - enter again.
    Steady but slow.

    (2) Cultural.
Bingo is very UK - anglo saxon centric - and not easily transferable globally.
Many of my readers simply won't get the thrill.

    (3) Breadth.
    Casino offer 10,20 30 differentgames.
    Bingo - well it's just bingo isn't it ?

I've got a backgammon program and a blackjack tournaments program that I'm trialling on site - and frankly these "single" style game sites are all a bit poor performing compared to Sports betting or Casino that has multiple angles per program.

    SUMMARY ...
If I'm promoting a single game style then it's poker (with all it's variants) ahead of bingo, blackjack MTT or backgammon .

Although many online casinos only offer 20 or 30 different "styles" of games (e.g. Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Sic Bo, etc.)....There are many different versions of these games, meaning some online casinos can only offer you 30 "styles" of games, but with all the different types, they could have in access of 300 casino games for your players to choose from. This means that your player has much more variety to choose the type of game they want to play.

This is especially trus in the Slot Machines. Although many people like to play Slots, they may want one that is targeted towards a certain theme, or a 3 Reel, 3 Line, versus a Progressive of a 5 Reel, 9 Line... etc.

In my opinion, Casinos can target a much broader audience = more income for you, and being able to offer your players a much bigger variety for your players.

    Wink hi

That is some great feedback and not sure I could add much more to be of help. Bingo and poker do seem kinda quiet here, most of the chatter is casinos. My site is general gambling and offers all 3 sectors. Personally I think casinos is a harder niche to get into, but definitely can be more profitable. Oh one thing for sure - use broader keywords if you want to get in any of the top results. Also I would go with revenue share, not CPA. Definitely don't forget to add a link from your bingo site to your new casino site
    Best of Luck!
