MSN Messenger Forcing us to merge with Skype?

Might wanna check out some of the apps for help with managing chat history.

MSN is going away and that will likely not change, so maybe one of the apps can help.

I did a registry search to see if I could manipulate the location the chats are stored in there and it doesn't appear so.

I can go back as far as 3 months in Skype, just by clicking, when I did this in MSN, I ALWAYS found myself having to look through files, and well, I am just lazy :P

So I'm back in the office and I'm still able to use MSN.

I don't like Skype much but I guess its the most used messenger now, specially in this industry.

I have to say that I liked the new Skype interface much more than the previous one... hope will be good

Argh annoying. I wonder if it's because my version of msn is older. The latest version would not work on my PC.

Alas, there is a solution for everything

I found a program called Messenger Reviver and it repaired my messenger client so I could use it again.

Stupid Microsoft. Thank god for nerds!

and this means that you use the old msn program without any problems? And what about your contacts?

Yep I'm using the old msn program with no issues and all my contacts are there.

When I signed into skype using msn all my contacts were offline even though I knew some of them were online, so it was never going to be an option. Luckily I don't settle for no as an answer
