Default My GPWA status has changed to "Affiliate Manager".

    Guys, it's official!
My status has formally changed from "Private Member" to "Affiliate Program Rep". For a little more than two years now, I've been concentrating on promoting the live casino niche as an affiliate. It's a niche that I strongly believe has enormous potential.

I believe in it so much that I'm putting a lot on the line to start the LiveCasinoPartners.com affiliate program. As you can see I'm more than an affiliate manager. I do have a vested interest in the success of the program. I am very passionate about the live casino niche, and it was an easy decision for me to make.

Since I've been a member at GPWA I've seen the factors that make a program more successfull than others. One of the most important factors I've seen is strong ethics and trust. Both are proven and earned through time.

I'm not going to list the features of the program here. An offical GPWA anouncement of the sponsorship will have more details. I chose to sponsor GPWA because of the fellowship and respect I have for my fellow webmasters here.

I do look forward to working with other webmasters and sharing marketting strategies that have helped me be successfull as an affiliate. If anyone has any questions or comments please feel free to PM me.

    Cheers!

Congrats WagerX! Pity that the casino doesn't accept US players. But I will test how it works for German players and then may sign up.

Thanks for the sentiments guys. I really appreciate it. I have the exclusive advantage of being a member here BEFORE I decided to do this. I will certainly try to do everything humanly possible to live up to the standards the GPWA members demand.

    Cheers!

    Two quick questions...

Is there really any point in joining your program because it seems like as soon as anyone else opens up a site in the “live casino” niche you just buy a similar domain name and do everything they are doing, so as well as promoting your stuff we would also be competing against you.

Also does this mean you are going to lose your seal of approval now because you are breaking the first rule of the “Seal of Approval” as your sites are no longer “managed independently of the online gambling websites it provides information about or promotes.”

I just noticed this thread, and have been debating whether or not to respond.

Firstly, the "live gaming" niche is for everyone. I really truly believe that the niche is poised to grow into the main stream standard in online gambling entertainment.

Now, your other remarks are probably better handled in a PM, but now that you mention it publicly, here it goes. I do register domain names with keywords in them. I check the stats on my sites and see the most common keywords searched on my site. Then I measure it's worth in terms of SEO. Blackhat? If the .com is not available I then go for .co.uk, and then .eu. Since we are in the same niche, I have seen your sites. You have many related to "live casinos", and "live roulette". I have registered quite a few with the terms "live roulette", and "live casino" and even "live blackjack".

As you know these terms change as the social context changes. What may be a promising domain now may not be in the future. ( ie. www.great-VHS.com) Thus, there is frequently opportunity for great domain names in social context. You could go even further and look for geo specific social context.

If "they are doing" means writing articles, directory submitions, and writing relevant content, then yes. I learned these things here and other SEO websites.

So what is comes down to is that we both have websites with keyword terms in the live gaming niche, and you do not like it. You want a monopoly on the live gaming niche. I understand why, you know first hand the conversions, deposit amounts, and player retention live casino games have. Who wouldn't want a monopoly. Affiliates are starting to catch on. When they do, I want to be there to help them break in to the market. If I do my job right, they will want to stay with my program.

There's no way around it, I am in a transition from an affiliate to program manager. In a weak sense, the answer is "yes". or you could say I am generating competition for myself. I do have a prominent SEO placement for many live gaming terms. Check out the sites. They are for a lot of different programs, and not just mine. I have picked a great company who I believe in, why wouldn't I place them on my sites.

I am upfront about it. How much do the programs spend on SEO? When you sign up for ANY program you are competing against them in a certain sense. When I joined the "SuperCasino" affiliate program they dominated ALL of the live casino terms. They still do. They probably spend a lot on SEO and marketing. In my particular case I gave my own program some space on my websites. It's reasonable considering I recently made the decision to start the LiveCasinoPartners program.

I do want to be successful, but not at any cost.

Yes it does, and it hurt removing the seal from my sites. I notified GPWA administration as soon as I officially started the program. It's part of the transparency here at GPWA.

Hey Adrian, Sorry about my massive rant but i guess i was having a bad day..
Think i need a holiday, but my boss wont let me take a day off.

Im sure you know how it is when your world turns upside down..
Well that had just happened to me.

Affiliate managers from one program quit their jobs to compete against you, meanwhile other affiliates turn into affiliate managers, after a while its hard to trust anyone.

    Anyway, all said and done.
Congratulations and good luck in the future!
