Well guys I thought I'd post some photos of the stadium named after my great uncle in Budapest.

For those who haven't been there or seen it (like me) you may be surprised at how beautiful it actually is.

I was actually able to have a little walk around the outside of that stadium and it had that kind of crumbling-concrete-communist chic that some buildings of that era seem to have.

I'm a massive fan of Puskas so it felt a bit special. A few weeks ago the BBC started a kind of celebrity-round the world in 80 days-charity challenge and two comedians, Frank Skinner (calm down Chalkie, easy boy!) and Lee Mack travelled thorough Hungary and stopped off in Budapest.

Frank visited that very stadium and met with a former player and also the commentator from the famous 1954 match when Hungary and Puskas defeated England 7-1, which remains England's heaviest loss ever.

You can see footage of that game here and you can still see features around the stadium that remain the same today in those photos.

I am 100% for an affiliate managers vs affiliates football match!!! That would be awesome. Needs to be arranged at the show after London (too cold - hamstrings) and playing at Puskas Park would be awesome.

I went to that Stadium over 20 years ago when it was called the Nepstadion or for any old Commie's out there The Peoples Stadium.

It was very impressive looking though slightly run down, obviously they have modernised the stadium now.

Your great Uncle is a legend in Hungary Renee, he is also a legend in Spain, in fact everywhere but in those two countries in particular.

Reckon you could for free in both Madrid and Budapest

I got all my cab rides free when I visited Greece 2 years ago coz my ex told the first cabbie that I was related and he gave us a free ride, so after that he tried it on all of them and it worked.

Funny stuff.
