Is it known that MyBet are also use their site for affiliation? Was really strange to see that some pages they redirect and some use as bookie. for example: https://www.mybet.com/ca/

I think they don't have aff program at the moment so it is less weird but i assume they still have plenty of links from affilaites that haven't removed them,

Any big affiliate will look into starting his own casino to earn more money, why shouldnt casinos be allowed to start own affiliate content in order to reduce acquisition costs?

From my point of view this is part of the game, just remove all the links you send to mybet.com and then fight them with a better website.

The biggest igaming affiliates in the world do not have a casino. Being aff or operator is two different games. You have to split your resources in half with a high chance of sucking at being an operator and aff. But hey, its their business and their choices.

Yes yes, they can do all they want. But having an online casino AND affiliate website in one is something i havent seen. I just double checked with a CA VPN and you can signup and probably play at mybet.com. So they are actually saying: at page A welcome player! at page B please go to competitor A, B, etc.

After mybet failed as operator i guess the owners (maybe new ones) are trying different things to see what brings the most profit. It is all allowed but please, it is weird and pathetic.

Interesting... Seen quite a few operators be bought out or close down and do a similar thing. Not one which is still actively accepting their own players though.

Actually, ebay do this - if you search for something at the bottom of the page often there are ads for other sites (I'm assuming it's adsense but mainly shows other stores selling the same thing).

Also, it's a trend nowadays that gambling companies are expanding to other parts of the industry. Like for example NetEnt (affiliate links on their website), casinos producing their own slots, slot providers having shares in casinos, casinos starting their own affiliate websites, affiliates running their own casinos, payment providers pushing their clients to casinos, etc.
