Default Need advice on Greek beaches

I'm planning on an excursion to Greece for my birthday and I'm looking at Navagio Beach, among a few others. But I need to know if they allow jetskiis there because many beaches forbid motorboats to preserve wildlife. And I can't seem to find much information about that on Tripadvisor.

And since many here are based around Malta, which isn't too far away, perhaps some of you have insights about this and the best beaches to target.

I was about to post about a beach in Crete called Falasarna, but I doubt they allow jetskis there.

Greece is amazing. Enjoy your holiday!

Well firstly I'm going in September and was wondering if that's a good season to visit Greece and avoid tourist crowdedness while still enjoying warm weather. Secondly, I want to visit all the ancient ruins in Athens and in Crete, before retiring to the beach. So what are the best options logistic wise?

And lastly I'm looking for beaches with the clearest water and the whitest sands, like the picture below that also allow jetskiing.

Zakynthos is a beautiful island! I have been there many times, but a few years ago now. There are plenty of beaches there that allow jetskiis, but I don't think you will be able to on Navagio Beach. Only because it's a pretty small beach and it is constantly packed with boats, plus it's a pebble beach.. Definitely worth a visit though and you should check out the Blue Caves too.

For watersports I recommend Banana Beach or St. Nicholas Beach which is on the other side of the island.

Athens is good to visit in September as the weather still nice and not extremely hot (around 28-32C)
Athens and Crete are a bit far, so from Athens either you take the Ferry (6hours trip) or by plane. Crete is amazing island and you can explore a lot of beaches

Yep it is, and I've been there. It's a beach in Crete called Falasarna. You climb down the side of a cliff to get to it. I'd have to say one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.

either you take the Ferry (6hours trip) or by plane
Can I suggest if you do the boat, you do it overnight and pay for an actual room. Don't sleep on the deck like I did. Even though it was in the mid 40s at the time, it was FREEZING overnight on that boat and so uncomfortable. I kept trying to steal a chair inside and got caught every time.
The only way I'd do it again like that is if I was in a group of people and we were playing cards or something for most of the time instead of trying to sleep.

This is Falarssana Beach and it doesn't look that attractive to me. In fact it looks like any beaches in Southern California.

The picture I posted with the white sand and clear water isn't from Greece, and perhaps Greece doesn't have spots with sands remotely that white?

Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong place for the kind of paradise beach I'm aiming for?

The pic I posted was Falasarna beach. I've been there, and it's amazing. Greece does have some sand beaches like that, just not many of them. If you go to santorini you'll see a black sand beach for example.

TBH, nothing compares to Australian beaches.
Hyams beach has the whitest sand in the world. You won't see it anywhere else.

I should also mention, a lot of beaches overseas have sand because they import it from us. Otherwise they'd have rocks.

LOL I can bond with you over that. Greek ex. "Beach" is an understatement. After we split he was only known as c-bag. Noone actually said his name ever again.

The majority of the beaches in Greece are sandy and 99% are super clean according to the standards and controls of EU.
On the other hand we do not have sharks so you can enjoy sea and sun

Why do you made it sound like you long for a nice beach like in Hawaii and other places when you got the No 1 rated beach in the world down the street from ya?

Judging from the picture, Hyams is 10 times better Falarssana and yet you're impressed by it?

I mean damn! I'm removing Greece from my vocabulary......

Well if I compare it to the other beaches in GREECE, which is where you asked about, yes I was impressed.
