    Hi All,

    Thought I'd share this news with you.

    Catena Media is primarily operating in online casino and then online gaming and will enhance its product offering to include the highly expanding pay-per-click (PPC) area, with the acquirement of UK Company Right Casino Media.

    Something seems off about this deal to me. $9 million? The WizardofOdds site sold a year ago for $2 million. It was over a decade old, had huge traffic and I'm confident that most affs would agree content that few could contend with. It also went with the WizardofVegas forum which was a very significant community and a few other less notable properties. Looking at the Alexa ranks for the 2 sites:

    I wonder what it was that inflated the value of RightCasino to this degree? I assume the deal included Castle casino, but that still seems a lot.

    I think it was for the PPC expertise. If you can spends

    Overall Sales recorded for the first three quarters were EUR 892, 000, with slightly more than 55 percent gross margin. The company has grown significantly and builds its repute in market, especially in UK and France which are two major markets.
    If you can spend 892k and make about 490.6k gross profit, then you know something thats worth paying for. The price is $3 million upfront and the other 6 depending on targets too, so its not all the lot in one go.

    Hi,
    In my view, the Right casino media, traffic wise is worth near nothing, I hope (for Catana) the deal includes Castle Casino.
    Never mind Alexa ranking or not, their traffic is not up scratch, quality or quantity wise.

    The deal was for $3m with potential rises to $9m based on what I assume are targets.

    Did people not say the Wiz deal was off at the time too?

    Regardless, it's futile to compare the sites and prices.
