Default Network of sites pointing to you

is it better to have a network of sites all pointing directly to your main site or one site? Does it really help with rankings that much???

    Default Links

I would go with the network of sites and use a variety of different anchor tags with the keywords you are trying to target. It is even better if each of the websites that are linking to your site are on different IP addresses and link to internal web pages as well. Just my two sense....

I have a nice little network of sites on different IP addresses and it works great. I can get a new site indexed within hours and find that I can get a PR of around 3 or 4 pretty instantly..

That's what I'm trying to set up now. I have about 5 different smaller sites on different IP's that all give links to the main site or other target sites. I'm glad to hear that strategy works.
