Hey guys,
I've been keeping an eye on the new gambling regulations in the Czech Republic. It looks like the government is stepping up control over online casinos with stricter rules and licensing updates. Came across this article:
“Czech law defines various types of gambling and sets strict conditions for obtaining licenses (Act No. 186/2016 Coll.). Operators are also required to comply with anti-money laundering measures (Act No. 253/2008 Coll.) and ensure player rights under consumer protection laws (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.).” It also highlights that “while strict regulations aim to ensure fair competition and player protection, the 23% tax rate on gross gaming revenue poses challenges for smaller operators, benefiting larger companies.”
Curious to hear how this is impacting affiliates or operators. Would love to know your thoughts.
