We've created a new forum for private GPWA members to request help when a sponsor affiliate program has not responded to a request in a timely fashion.
Normally private members can post requests for help in a sponsor program's forum, and an affiliate program representative will respond in a timely fashion. But sometimes requests fall between the cracks, and a response to resolve the issue or question that has been raised is not received in a timely fashion.
We now have a new way to help insure this type of situation is addressed.
When a member feels a request has not been properly addressed in a resaonable timeframe, a post can be made in the new affiliate program problem assistance forum.
The forum is here: www.gpwa.org/forum/help-when-affiliate-program-fails-address-request-forums-below.html
The post should include a link to the thread where the problem was originally reported, together with a brief description of the reason for the help request (e.g., the affilaite program has not responded).
In this fashion the new forum will serve to keep a list of unresolved requests for which a response has not been received in a timely fashion.
We will monitor this thread and try to follow-up with issues posted here with the appropriate affiliate manager. And when we (or another member here) wishes to take responsibility for following up with respect to a particular issue a posting to that effect in the thread will let everyone know that someone has taken responsibility for following up with the relevant affiliate program to try to resolve the issue.
We encourage other members to also participate in the process. In fact, this whole new thread to monitor and track older outstanding issues was created in response to a suggestion by GPWA member GFPC. He expressed an interest in helping to moderate and resolve situations where fellow affiliates were not paid in a timely fashion by affiliate programs. Our hope is that the infrastructure we have put in place will enable us to help each other resolve older issues by having a list of issues better organized that need attention.
