New Web Host Problem

I have just moved my website to a new shared host and I am experiencing some problems with the page loading speeds, pages not loading correctly and error messages like "Your connection to the server was reset..."

I have contacted my host but they insist that there is no problem and every thing appears normal from their side.

Please could you check for me and let me know.

Did you try a few pages and did they load reasonably quickly?

The website is not loading correctly for me no matter which browser I use. The pages don't load 100%, some times the site just hangs.

Very strange because my other sites with a different host load correctly.

Works ok for me, tried a few pages, Firefox 3.6

I've tested the other pages of your site as well, no problems they're loading 100%.

i tried a few pages, they seem to load pretty quick from here in canada. I'm using firefox on mac.

Using Safari on a Mac and pages loading reasonably quickly for me here in Hawaii. First page takes a tad longer, however, that's to be expected I guess.

thanks for testing folks, seems the problem has resolved itself.

My guess is that due to your location and the fact that you likely spent a great deal of time on your own sites that many routers had the rote cached to the old server you wer on.

Once moved the path to the new server was different so it took a while for the cached routes to be updated....

it came up real fast except for the slide show. You might want to take a look at that.

Thanks for the tip. I will look into it but I think all such slide shows are a bit resource intensive.
