Newbie advice on the following please

Hi all,

I'm no expert but I'm a fast learner and really want to succeed, I only work 2-3 days per week so I have alot of time on my hands.

After having small success on with my football tipping blogspot, I've decided it's time to create a site and would really appreciate some pointers with the following:

1) I'm thinking of building a worpress site using the flytonic sportsbook theme, I've seen a previous post regarding flytonic here and was wondering if you guys would suggest any other templates/site ?

2) I've signed up with 7 affiliates individually ( uk sportsbook), is there a network of sites under one sign where all payments can be monitored ?

3) I've tried twitter with out much success how do you guys find twitter/facebook ?

4) Are there many sportsbooks to avoid ?

I would still to flytonic. There are the Sportsbook theme and the sports betting theme to choose from. The customer support is great

4) Are there many sportsbooks to avoid ? Wager Web for USA. Not sure for UK bookmakers.

Don't use wordpress myself but it's a good option for people who just want to write without worrying about coding HTML/PHP. The FLytonic theme has a good reputation.

No. All programs are different companies - it's a bit like asking can you have one signup to see all bank accounts.
There is a product called "remote stats" which can pull all the data into one screen if you want to just see the numbers. Monthly fee applicable.

It's a social network - if you joined to sell then others can tell and you will get less engagement.
Twitter / Facebook give as much back as you put into sharing.

4) Are there many sportsbooks to avoid ?

Plenty of products to avoid. It's a vast topic. Do your research.
Start by promoting the sportsbooks that YOU personally choose to use.

Affiliation is not a get rich quick scheme. 90% of people fail within 2-3 months.

If you can provide unique compelling content that people want to read then you will grow your reader base and that SHOULD translate to signups and earnings in the long term if you are promoting good betting partners.

Flytonic's sportsbook theme is very easy to use and I think it's a perfect solution for newbies. I personaly use it for my website. There are many free themes and templates on the net, but I wouldn't advice you to use those templates because of security, quality etc. Flytonic has a good support, also many tutorials and videos, so if you can use wordpress, it will not difficult for you to build your site.

Flytonic themes are the most popular gambling themes out there.

As TheGooner said, statsremote.com is a good tool to use.

I haven't had much success with them personally.

Google the words blacklisted sportsbooks to get an idea of which sportsbooks to be careful of.

Thanks Sweetbet, I've just been searching and reading here about some of the payment problems with certain affilates, i'll do some good research before commiting.

I'll also have a look at statsremote.com
