    Default NHL Playoffs

Any favorite team?, what's your take on the series, and who's going to win it all?

    Scores:

    04/17 Ducks 3 - 4 Predators (Nashville leads series 2-1)
    04/17 Canucks 3 - 2 Blackhawks (Canucks lead series 3-1)
    04/18 Flyers 4 - 2 Sabres (Philly leads series 2-1)
    04/18 Bruins 4 - 2 Canadiens (Mtl leads series 2-1)
    04/18 Penguins 3 - 2 Lightning (Pens lead series 2-1)
    04/18 Red Wings 4 - 2 Coyotes (Detroit leading series 3-0)
04/19 Canucks 2 - 7 Blackhawks - Hawks literally kicked ass and took names in this game. I'd actually like to see them win game 5 and make a series of it. A few good fights last night.
04/19 Sharks 6 - 5 Kings (SJ leads series 2-1) - One hell of a comback for SJ after being down 4-0 in this game.

    TONIGHT'S GAMES:

    04/20 Capitals vs. Rangers - 06:00pm (CT)
    04/20 Penguins vs. Lightning - 06:00pm (CT)
    04/20 Flyers vs. Sabres - 06:30pm (CT)
    04/20 Ducks vs. Predators - 07:30pm (CT)
04/20 Red Wings vs. Coyotes - 09:30pm (CT)

    THURSDAY NIGHT GAMES:

    04/21 Bruins vs. Canadiens - 06:00pm (CT)
    04/21 Blackhawks vs. Canucks - 09:00pm (CT)

I'm a Pens fan tried and true. Last night's double OT win was SWEEEEETT! Back to the Burgh on Saturday with a 3-1 series advantage, I love it when the clinch on home ice, hopefully come Saturday the will do it again.

Tried to stay up for the Wings, Coyotes game last night but my eyes were closing on me. After seeing the 6-3 Wings win I am glad I shut the tube off after 2 periods. Was hoping the coyotes would break the 13 game playoff losing streak.

Ive always been a Red Wings fan but sadly I have stopped following Hockey in the last couple of seasons! Who is the favourite to win it all? Or who had the best record coming into the Playoffs?

Bruins Fan here. I once asked Wayne Cashman for his stick when I was a kid at a Bruins game. He said if he breaks it he'd give it to me.

I trashed the odds chart I had so I can't recall many except my beloved Pens at 8/2 I think. Other favorites were Detroit (of course) who advanced to round 2. Vancouver was around a 3/1 I think as they came in as the top seed, they had one helluva year with 117 points. Right now they are staged to play game 7 in the opening round against the Blackhawks (tonight's game in Vancouver).

Lot's of game sevens in the 1st round, Penguins frittered away a 3-1 series lead and go to game 7 tomorrow in Pittsburgh. (GO PENS)

    Other game 7's:

    Philthy v. Buffalo

    Advancing to round two:

    Detroit
    San Jose
    Nashville
    Washington

    Still at it:

    Boston 3 - 2 over Montreal. Game 6 tonight.

While I am rooting for the Washington Capitals I am shocked to see the Chicago Blackhawks come back on the Vancouver Cannucks since they were the best team this season. Should be interesting game 7....Go Caps!

What a game last night with the Blackhawks/Canucks... that is what playoff hockey is all about! Will be intereting to see how much further Vancouver goes.

I was at the vancouver/chicago game last night and it was intense! Vancouver finally got their game together and played well. Lou did amazing he played well! I have no voice left today! Cant wait till the next round as that win was huge for Vancouver! I think Vancouver has the ability to go deep into the playoffs and be a contender! Go Nucks!

Yep, the Pens are on the golf course till fall. Really irks me that they pissed away a 3-1 series lead and also ticks me off Crosby watching the game from the stands. A "real" player would have been back on the ice a long time ago, I think he was playing the concussion thing a bit long... hell, it happened in January ffs. No excuse for poor play though and the Bolts goalie was standing on his head last night. Well done!

Congrats to the Bolts in the win. I hope they go far, would love to see them send the Caps packing next.
