Default .online domain in some markets

    Here's what I'm thinking...
Yes I know the extension of the domain, practically does not matter for rankings, etc. It does not need to be mentioned....

I noticed some value in the .online domain extension, which for me has always been neutral.

It seems that this value for the audience of western locations may be zero, but in some markets it may give some targeting.

Of course, the Internet has a large-scale presence in every country on earth. However, there are locations where land-based, street gambling is still very popular for many reasons, laws, payments, culture, etc.

So, do you think that targeting a .online domain on the fact that the product is on the internet could be some small added value in certain markets?

I'd say you might be overthinking it, Danny. I've seen .online sites ranking. Maybe it would take a bit more effort to get it going at the start, but if you get a good one and (as always) populate it with strong content, you should have a chance of doing OK.

It's clear that for google it doesn't matter what the domain extension is.
I was more concerned that .online could be of value for example in countries like Brazil, Thailand etc where a lot of gambling is offline and .online could be targeted.

Due to the failure of my last site I wanted to try something new and there happened to be free and cheap .online domains so I decided and started searching, or telling myself their advantages
