there are outbreaks of a new variant of the Coronavirus.
The WHO has issued a warning for a third wave of COVID-19,
and countries are reissuing restrictions they had rolled back.

Everything is getting worse and covid is spreading rampantly in the world. I wonder if they will ever actually be able to contain it, as it keeps mutating so that it stays alive.

Yes, Covid restrictions are being relaxed to very, very little on Monday here in the UK.

Now, on the one hand there's a massive proportion of the adult population here with 1 if not 2 jabs so that's positive. On the other hand, the virus is circulating around younger people and schools like wildfire right now with 50k new infections per day total and growing.

Kids finish school for the summer next week so that removes one aspect, although nightclubs etc opening up next week so the Holland situation is quite, if not very, likely.

Guinea pigs is how I'd describe the UK right now; we'll find out in the fullness of time if that was the right or wrong move. Wish us luck!!
