Partnerlogic Affiliate Question

Out of my 12 signed up Affiliates programs thus far, one big question pops up when dealing with Partnerlogic.

They have told me that before I can retrieve any commission I need to make a one time deposit on my affiliate account to the value of $/€/£ 10. Obviously this can be withdrawn with my commission but I would like to know if this type of practice is common?

Hi Duane,

I believe you have been speaking to my colleague Alex here about this process.

Although I can't really generalise for any other companies procedures, this deposit process simply acts as a verification of the account.

Bear in mind that you will only ever have to 'deposit' once just as a authentication of the account at no actual expense to the affiliate as you receive your commission + the 10 unit deposit in full. Once this is done you can just withdraw each month as normal.

I'll admit Alex was very helpful and patient with my questions, however, I just wanted some other feedback as out of my 12 signed up Affiliate programs you guys are the only one's requiring a deposit.

I wonder if you changed this policy if you would receive more affiliates?! Might be something you want to bring forward to your management. Either way, I understand this is what your company policy is.

Some payment processors require a deposit to activate your account before permitting withdrawals. It's not a reason to avoid doing business with them.

It's fairly common for programs that deposit your commission into player accounts to require some type of verification.

Partnerlogic is a good program, I wouldn't let this requirement get in the way of working with them. In fact, I find it comforting to know they take security seriously and that my commission will be safely deposited to the right account.

I am sorry to disagree with a number of others, but this is NOT a COMMON occurence.

Yes I had to do it in order to be paid by Partner Logic many years ago, but they are one of the few places that have required me to make a deposit in order to be paid for marketing their properties.

I agree with Universal4, I am sure there are other ways for verification when the account has just opened as opposed to doing verification once the new affiliate has generated revenue for the casino.
Fair enough we get the money back but to reiterate on my first sentence, verification should be done when the account is opened and forcing the new affiliate to deposit some cash should not be a means of verification.

To reply to Casinobonusguy, I have yet to make a dime myself. I am still fairly new to the scene so patience is a virtue for me

Hi All,

Your input about this has been taken on board here at PartnerLogic. Although this 'deposit' process was initially for security reasons, we agree that this method is not the most attractive to affiliates and have decided to act on it.

As such, I can confirm that we will be removing this requirement from the registration process shortly.

In addition, we will soon be making other significant improvements to our services and technology for members of the PartnerLogic affiliate programme. Once these changes have been implemented, I will let you all know so you can all start reaping the rewards!

Personally, I am really happy that we will soon be able to offer improvements like these to the affiliates.

It's no secret that the functionality that we have at the moment is not the best out there, and we are working hard to make significant strides to improve this. Could someone from partnerlogic pls look at baraka, tamtam, casino vendome as these lowlifes closed down and redirecting traffic to intercasino which IMO is unethical at the least.

Hi FictionNet, we are simply using Income Access's back-end technology to make some improvements to our offering, the programme is still PartnerLogic run.

We have no visibility on how these casinos are going about their business, nor how their affiliate programme treats their affiliates.

We were contacted by Baraka casino a little while ago to work with them on an affiliate basis and have received some traffic since then - but that is where our visibility ends.

If any of you have particular concerns with baraka, i would suggest that you contact us directly about this, as we do have lines of communication with them.
