    Default eWalletXpress Assets Frozen?

Has anyone heard anything about eWalletXpress being down or funds seized by the US Gov?

I have heard a few rumors about it and had a player tell me they can't access eWalletXpress ... does anyone know anything for sure yet?

I just wrote a news article about this. They have been saying upgrades since last week and the rumors running around the net is that there is the possibility that the US players will not be welcomed when they are operational, i have heard there is no "deposit options" on the US accounts.

Just went to the Ewallet Xpress website and tried to open an account to see if it would let me and if the site was even up and running. Guess what...its up and running just fine, was letting me open an account even, until i had to choose my country. The ONLY option they have for country is Canada. Thats it.

So its official, US is out.

Is any processor safe? Serious question? I am wondering if all of them are soon going to shut down... its getting real bad.

I logged into mine today, clicked on deposit and still showed my USA accounts to use. Did not move forward as I had flushed this account last month and have only a few pennies left in it. I try not to let any ewallets hold my funds long after the Neteller fiasco where it took 3 years t get my cash out.

If they are closing to the US is is really gonna put a pinch on us.

I dont think that makes it official they are out. The agent stated upgrades and that could mean almost everything.

They definitely have some issues and probably some operators too.
    Cheers!

Gathering more pace this story, more sites picking up on it.

ewalletXpress Issued with U.S. Federal Warrant For Seizure of Funds - casinospy

Another Payment Processor Rumored to be Leaving the US - casinoscamreport

I don't actually have an account with them, so have no idea what the effect is, but I would not be hanging around waiting to see if my money was in ewalletxpress.

It would be good if we could get some comment from a USA facing online casino about this as they would be best placed to know what's happening here. Anyone?

    Say it isn't so.

Being in the U.S., they were my only option.

I will try to find out more information.

    Hi,

I can confirm that yes they have been served with a federal warrant and funds have been seized.

Its an unfortunate situation to anyone who had any funds with them.

    Regards,
    Jason

It is certainly an unpleasant turn of events but we all know that processors get shut down every day in this industry...it's the nature of the beast.

You never know when it's going to happen but as an operator you know that eventually it's going to go down and you are going to take a hit...

    Hey there Marty.

So what are your thoughts on programs that only offer QT for a payment method for US affiliates? Would it be unreasonable to ask them to reimburse any funds that may be seized in the future via a processor or provide another options like wire or check?

I have about 3 that falls in that category and need advice just in case I'm affected by a seizure.

    Hey Robin,

There are a few questions I would ask:

Why is QT the only pmt method?
Do they offer other solutions to their players?
How long have they been in the industry?

If you have a good relationship with the affilate managers this can all be worked out.

Maybe the eWallet and the QuickTender are both undergoing into something. Are they really just upgrading or about to close?.. Everyone of us are confused thinking about the truth behind the inconvenience in their site.
