Default Plenty of fish advertising for affiliates

    Hey everyone!

Does anybody have any experience with POF Ads( plenty of fish advertising) ?
They have an interesting demographic tool, can't post a link to it but try googling "pof ads demographic " in order to access the tool.

I'm currently considering spending some money on this and wondering if any of you have advertised on POF and experienced good results & conversions for your casino affiliate sites? It would be good to know!

    Cheers
    Ari

Well actually....oops...you mean advertising for business...no never tried it.....hehehe

Interesting to see responses on this also.

Have you checked to see if they allow gambling advertisement specifically.

Default Plenty of fish advertising for affiliates

Hi Rick , they do allow advertising yes (depends on the country you want to advertise in - in my case it's the UK) also age wise it's 21+..so the guidelines are pretty standard and straight forward when it comes to advertising gambling content..I did set up an ad a month ago and I tested a direct affiliate link and also my homepage but to be fair I didn't spend much time and money on it..I'm currently researching pof as I want to spend more in the future. I had a few problems with the images I was using for the campaign but their support was excellent and I got it all fixed and up and running in no time...I'll keep you posted on the results

I've tried them a couple of times in the past, because they offer really good targeting options. I ran both ads to my site and ads directly to some casinos, but never had much success unfortunately. It might work for you though and since they don't require a large budget, it's worth a try.

Really interested in hearing about how it is working out for you guys. I understand that if you found a gold mine you may not want to tell everyone. You could always PM Marit and me though hehe

I tried to set up a campaign. I kept getting denied because they want me to set up different landing pages for different languages. The only problem is that I've only chosen to target English speaking countries, so I don't know what they're talking about.

Hi people, first post here. I spent between 2k to 4k testing pof for slots and table game offers. The results were terrible compared to other sources. Regardless of the targeting options the traffic is still quite untargeted. I don't think I got a single depositing player.

If anyone wants to discuss strategy or other traffic sources please PM me.

    hi all,

i tried and ran campaing yesterday (small budget of $25 just to test it out). Have done very well targeting (only uk, males, >30 years, no students and ran campaing at the time when people are usually at home, after 09:00 PM). Received only 29 clicks and no conversion (not even single registration!) even ads was very clear! So i'll stay away from POF ads, they have only CPM, but i prefer CPC..

has anyone luck with pof ads? aris1985 what was your budget, targeting etc..?

I didn't spend much tbh, tried several campaigns with different targeting (uk only) and spent maybe 200 to 300 $ in total
, got loads of clicks but no conversions...then again 200-$300 is not much if you compare it to Cost per click for google PPC..so maybe with pof you need to spend more to get results but I don't want to risk it as the traffic isn't targeted..

Thats strange for this amount of money.. Maybe they are too much focused on chicks rather then have some fun at online casinos.. Anyway do you know some effective ad networks that allows gambling ads and doesnt need huge fundind to campaigns?

intresting, I didn't yet test POF (just heard about it)
I tested over 20 adnetworks, very few work well for online gaming, in fact even those that do bring players,
you will have to know how to optimize your ad + landing page (killer landing page is a must!).

I would not recommend to drive traffic directly to casino site.
