Default Is it possible for sponsors to manually change our revenue reports?

Without going into detail or mentioning names, I just wanted to ask if it is possible for some sponsors or affiliate program managers to manually edit/change/adjust the statistical and/or revenue reports of an affiliate? This is a question that one must ask when the same player wins big almost every single month. How is that even statistically possible?

This has been discussed here at the GPWA in the past.

I do recall there were some specific software providers stats programs that did have that capability exposed, but I do not recall which ones as the discussion itself was a number of years ago.

Although I do not want to diminish the idea that this could be possible, this makes it even more important to try and find the programs to promote on your sites where you feel the highest comfort level of trust between yourself and the program.

If I can manage to find the discussion, I will post a link here.

The program is paying to license the affiliate software you are using as an affiliate, they can and do change affiliate stats whenever they want. It is their database for paying their affiliates whatever THEY want. That's how it works.

You want to pull your stats daily reports and then see if the player magically loses on the same day every month. There are other ways to find it in reporting but depends what stats you are offered by the program.

Sure, I don't have any doubt about it. May be the affiliate managers don't have enough power to do that personally, but in higher levels that kind of decisions can be made.

Yeh it would be awfully tempting for a company owner/higher up person to shave the stats if you got say a really big whale. Let's say someone dropping £100k a month, why would they want to give you £35k for example, when they could just untag the player. Too tempting and I am certain it happens at some unscrupulous programs, in particular those I have mentioned before that get farmed out to the Wolves of Tel Aviv.

They can and they do. One of the reasons so many affiliates have been screwed over and over through the years. Retagging of players is an issue too.

I recall some RTG casinos were giving players a 'Manager Bonus' at the 11'th hour of EOM. Hence, affiliate might be +$15K in commission, but with the total manager bonuses given out, it would reduced the aff earnings to a lowly-figure, worse, throw them in the red.

    Next month, same thing again

There's a million and one ways to shaft affiliates. Even the wrong mathematical macro of GGR deductions, can rob affiliates blind.

Tax is another. Are you being hammer for 100% of that tax deduction?
When Fortune Affiliates were still around (before being absorbed into Buffalo Partners) they'd pay POC in AU and NZ. At one point I realised I'd been getting hit for 100% of that tax (should have 25%). Some months was $3K (or more). After a few emails back and forth and supplying an almost 'accountant' like explanation, I was finally reimbursed the commission I should have received.

If I didn't wise up, they'd have scammed me.

These browser based, multi-game providers seem to take a HUGE chunk from GGR. Video Slots is a great example. Their TRUE commissions are nothing but smoke and mirrors. More to the point, a complete and utter con/scam.
    https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/co...iliates.12693/ (VS affiliate audit):

    25% = 3.08%
    30% = 3.70%
    35% = 4.32%
    40% = 4.93%
    45% = 5.55%

Mainstream companies get busted with 'cooked books', and they're bricks and mortar businesses. Hence, how hard would it be for an unscrupulous aff program, to do the same???!!!

Aff stats are only as reliable as the data they reference. If that DB data is "cooked", then unless someone from within 'blows the whistle' or the program f#cks up and that data is somehow leaked by accident to said aff stats, then no one is the wiser.

I doubt there are many, if any affiliates, who haven't had that gut-feeling that something isn't Kosher. BUT... without solid proof, you just have to go on your "gut feelings". If your stats don't make sense, or you think your getting shafted, then it's possible you are... just sayin!

RTG you need to watch, from what I hear the interface like inetbet uses is directly tied to RTG, when RTG operators use their "own" inrterface they can take that data and do whatever they like. I'm sure this is the same with most software interfaces.

Once a reliable RTG brand, now pretty much rogue IMHO.
When a casino starts screwing legit players, you can bet your bottom dollar, a similar MO, is likely being orchestrated on their aff partners.
