So this means affiliates are having their commissions frozen. I can't see any ewallet being safe for any affiliate. What else can players and affiliates use?

Wire and cheque, but no doubt they have problems in their own right too.

This is very worrying. I feel for all the US based affiliates and players.

I've just knocked this up now: http://www.casinos-online.co.uk/news...nd-affiliates/

If the US really seized these payments does that mean that they now have everyones personel banking information. That could lead to some serious problems.

Just received am e-mail from Quicktender that they cancelled my withdraw and placed the money back in my quicktender account. Goods news, at least the funds were not seized! They state they will notify when the withdraw option is once again available. Now just to find a way to get it out of there.

    Good news UPB!

I've talked to a few folks that feel that the funds may be returned to us/merchants as they were NOT actually seized. Thank Godness for some good news!

I hope we all dodged a bullet here.

    EDIT:

I just checked and my original withdrawal that showed confirmed, but never showed up at my bank sais [05/12/2011 14:25:24 Being processed] and the funds that I could not withdraw are also there. Plus I received a payment on the 19th. This is a nice surprize!

In this situation the funds may remain in the "uncleared" status for a while as I am sure they are doing a full audit to make sure all funds that did not transfer out correctly will be credited back and all funds that actually reached their intended recipient are not credited back.

Currently they do not have a transfer method available by I have faith they will figure something out.

The fact that they work with US authorities and other countries tells you they operate on the up and up, and the cash should not be siezed. I expect a lot of "panic" and over reacting will continue for some time. Note the poker rooms busts was not really suprise as i hear they were pretty corrupt in many ways, not just in the UIGEA ideas.

Thank you for contacting the QuickTender Help Desk.

I just got this from QT but my money is in my account and I was able to deposit at a casino this morning so nothing is frozen yet.

Please be informed that the withdrawal option is currently unavailable.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a definite time frame when the withdrawal option will be back again, however, our team is doing its best to resolve this within the shortest time period and in best possible manner.

However some affiliate programs are using the FBI and Processor isssues to not pay or delay payments. Been waiting for 3 months on one and every month its something new as to why they cant send right now....But others are not having any problems via QT or wire.....

Has anyone else been told that affiliate programs are having problems transfering funds due to processors?

Hopefully they get this done and get it done soon!

As far as programs stating they are having processing issues - yes I have heard from several programs stating they are having issues with processing. Not keeping any of those programs away from the party (Conferences) though ...

    The QT site is down.

    The latest email.

    Dear,

Since our last email communication where we advised any funds in your QuickTender account could still be used to purchase at QuickTender accepting sites we had been working hard to reinstate our withdrawal facility and ensuring your funds where safe and secure.

However, further developments specifically relating to our main bank processing company have resulted in our accounts being frozen subject to a seizure order giving us no ability to make payments in any currency.

In light of these developments we have had no option but to discontinue the Quicktender service with immediate effect and for the foreseeable future.

At this time we are unable to confirm when or if we could make payments of remaining balances.

We will keep you advised of future relevant developments.

Once again the actions of the US Government hurt those they claim to be protecting.

By the way, I said this EXACT thing the last time they seized money, because that what it does, hurts the consumer.

Now that they have this money tied up, the general public has less of their own money to spend on trivial things like groceries, gas, or other silly expenses like rent, electric bills etc....

After reading the warrant it appears to me that they can and probably will. Linwood-SSW-Affidavit. They are some sneaky little B@^#$&@%.

During contract negotiations with Nemesis Group, a top manager stated that Nemesis Group had been running an e-wallet business under the name of Ecocard for about five years. Nemesis was establishing a processing relationship with Linwood in order to expand its payment processing in the U.S.

Open source research of EcoCard indicates that it maintained advertising links with a number of on1ine gamb1ing sites, including Absolute Poker, Ultimate Bet, Poker Time, and Mansion Poker. The ECo card website stated that Club EcoCard has teamed up with various online gaming sites....’
