Search Console v Analytics reporting

A question: does anyone know what / why the difference in numbers between Search Console Clicks and Analytics Organic Search. Surely those numbers should be the same - isn't a Search Console Click a click from Organic Search (i.e. Google search result).

one is results from javascript on your site.. the other is via google search, so if your site was slow or un responsive then the numbers would differ ..

I have a further question. If a user clicks on a tracking link on a landing page and goes off to a casino I'm promoting, does that count as a bounce because they're leaving the site?

if they didnt look at any other pages before hand then yes

I'm fairly sure there was a hack to change this reporting as a bounce in GA, but I couldn't make it work and I'm not sure if I still have a copy of it. If I find it, I'll post it. But maybe someone else will in the mean time.

Yes I think it was hack that registered the sub 30 second visitors "Which would make sense"

If that session user view only one page (1 interaction hit--page view)= single page session .If user go to another page on your website > not single page session. BR= single page session/all page session.
If user enter you website then click affiliate link to casino website this is single page session because it only generate 1 interaction hit(page view).How BR calculate ?Ex. 1.Homepage(offersville.com)>aff link click 2.Homepage >Casino(navbar)>affclick 3.Homepage>sport(navbar)>affclick 4.slot page(http://www.offersville.com/slot/)>Homepage>aff click
this contain 4 session but the session that not start in homepage don't count so your homepage bounce rate in this situation is =1/3~33% .

I'm not sure what you mean.If you mean you want this to not calculate as bounce check this

I never try this but it may be work.Setting duration event and set the duration value low
