SEO man? Anchor text links? Forum Spam? Have you tried buying links from fiverr yet?

i have used fiver in past for links but to many rubbish links, i might play the long game and build trust on forums before adding sneaky links

branding is also important and you can do it along side seo, although you have to be a slightly bigger comapny to do so, not just an individual with a small betting blog, but you could try

Branding is definitely important. Another big thing lately that gets alot of buzz and shares/links back to your site are infographics as readers prefer visuals over text.

So creating profiles on sites like Pinterest and Instagram can create alot of buzz back to your website.

Also, when it comes to keywords and if you can afford it. Then try PPC, test keywords and see how it gets vistores to your site.

Try long tail keywords and create an ad.

Test the add text, do some A/B tests.

Then if you're having success. Work on those keywords in the back ground, work on your organic listings.

Once you get up there, take the ppc add down and get natural traffic.

Or kill two birds with one stone and have an add and organic listing.

But today in marketing. You need to be everywhere.

I like topics which start like: "Hi, I just want help from you!".

Ahem, but what have you tried, or do you have any particular questions? There is plenty of SEO articles outside there in web, and considering you are their SEO man, then you should tell everyone else how to do it

At the moment you are doing pretty well with SMM..

I can suggest, that you should work closely on anchor text "betting talks", should get you decent traffic if you get top3 and it should be pretty easy to achieve it.

What is your top level seo strategy? Is is to rank/compete for a set of chosen search queries? Is it to get a targeted amount of monthly traffic?

You should first decide on a top level strategy so perhaps pick 20 lucrative keywords and target those... or as an alternative 20 low competition terms and start with those Or 10,000 unique visits per month and so on

But if you have a top line strategy that will help you shape you activities... backlinks with anchor text is not a great way to start if you don't have an objective to aim at, it could be perceived as a bit aimless and in this age as an SEO you should be considering the entire digital marketing spectrum and how that enhances your Google position. i.e How does email support SEO, how does social support SEO, how does content support SEO, PPC/Banners Ads and so on.
