Hello everyone. Why do I feel like Google SEO for i-gaming has been so difficult these past few weeks? It peaked a day ago when all the domains suddenly disappeared.

Possible a portion is connected to this update

Also have a read through the other threads within the SEO section as there have been a few updates this year, and any one of them could possibly have caught up wit your sites.

There is no clear notification on the forum. All are just complaints about declining rankings.
This comes up after every core update. When domains vanish overnight it usually isn't a penalty, it's a broad core update rolling out and the SERPs getting reshuffled while it settles. Worth checking the dates against the update timeline Rick linked, the timing almost always lines up.
A few things I'd look at before assuming the worst. Did the whole site drop or just specific pages and keywords, is it gone from Search Console too or only what you see when you search manually, and did anything happen on the technical side recently. iGaming also gets hit harder than most niches on these updates since Google leans extra hard on trust signals for YMYL money topics.
Give it a couple of weeks before reacting. Plenty of sites that crater on day one partially recover once the rollout finishes.

I agree with Franky. Don't hit the panic button and start changing your code and page content again. Speaking from experience ignore Google when they say the core update is finished the Google dance keeps going for two weeks post-update and it affects everyone.
I'd say Google became 'hard mode' for iGaming back in spring last year. I'm not even talking about the usual ranking fluctuations during or after updates, but the overall trend. I haven't completely given up on SEO, of course, but it's become increasingly difficult , so these days I'm actually more in AI
Could partially also be the heavy influx of bogus copyright notices: https://www.gpwa.org/forum/has-googl...272604/p6.html
I have a feeling that way more websites are affected by this and some might not even know it.
