Now the biggest thing is TIME; no matter how good the site and how well its SEO'ed.. time is the biggest deciding factor i have seen so far.

Okay good, “the gloves are off” on this one.

I’m assuming the guy meant to get a little SEO juice and some traffic to the site with his post, and maybe a few good tips along the way.

If he had asked how the site looked, the response would have been “great”. It is a very visually appealing site that appears to have the hallmarks of a successful website with an uncluttered navigation system, reasonable loading speed, cookie script and all the right footer information (something my sites have always lacked).

But, the question was about SEO.

Instead of some namby-pamby “look at the basics” responses, we are getting some honest and valuable tips.

In the beginning, all you had to do was throw up a site with some links and you would get traffic and revenue. Then the industry got more sophisticated and you needed a much more polished look and approach (this site would have flourished even then).

But we are way beyond those times. I think most of the people here are saying is that if you really want to succeed, you have to go much further with more in-depth content, value and something that will set you apart from thousands of other websites. AND that is just the beginning.

So don’t expect to rank high with a search like “xyz Casino Review” yet, those spots are already taken

I've seen him selling it for 5K US dollars on Flippa, but at the moment it's not listed anymore. So, maybe its gone already.
