I have 2 very basic suggestions to start with:

You may want to address some of your site's speed issues first.

If you haven't submitted an XML sitemap, you'll want to do that regularly, or preferably, automate it.

Spot on with that one! mobile speed score: 31 (0 - 49 is red zone and that's bad). Speed index score: 22.2s

Took a quick look at your coding, and without being offensive, it's a mess. There's multiple code errors. In addition to scripts outside of your closing </html> tag. However, the most important issue, your site is not mobile optimized.

Using AMP doesn't make your site mobile optimized.

Coding dictates the mobile optimization, and unfortunately your coding is not mobile optimized.

The WP theme your using isn't OLD, it's ancient and is using outdated coding: Reno Sports Advisors Handicapping Site Author: Tyler Forret Author URI: hxxp://www.renosportsadvisors.com Version: 1.0 Changelog: v1.0 - 01.21.13 (the URL doesn't exist anymore).

This theme is using outdated coding.

Trying to fix your current theme, and or adding extra bits and pieces to it is, a BIG waste of time. All your doing is creating more and more junk code. Reiterating your WP theme is years too old.

FYI... WP core coding has gone through a heap of changes since 2013. Your theme is using old coding. Update it to a modern theme, and 90% of your problems will be solved. Including your SEO issues.

    EDIT:
When I say your site is not mobile optimized:

Although your site fits to a mobile... your navigation is not mobile optimized, neither is you textual content. Both of these and other coding elements are using PC CSS/JS coding etc, which is not mobile optimized.

Hence using AMP is a waste of time, until your theme is updated to a bona fide mobile optimized WP theme.

As others have said, start with a more updated and mobile optimized theme.

There are plenty of free choices to start with for now and you could migrate to a more customized version purchased ot developed for you later if needed.

Free WP themes are great for personal use on a site/blog. But, a lot of these are striped down lite versions. Where, making even basic changes such as adding a logo, changing link colors, font sizes etc., etc., means you have to edit theme coding and CSS too. That's not included the disadvantage of having 2 or 3 global footer links to the theme developer, in exchange for using said free theme.

A decent WP professional sports betting theme, will have oodles of click and set options. No manual CSS/coding editing, and no global footer links.

It's best to find a theme where, it costs a yearly subscription, as apposed to once off payment. Reason being... a yearly subscription gives the developer an incentive to keep the theme updated. A one of fee doesn't.

There are a pile of once great gambling themes which, are now obsolete, because of their once off fee.

I don't run a sports book, but if you venture over to: https://vegashero.co/downloads/sports-betting-theme/ (these guys are active on the GPWA, and have been for a few years). Their themes are top notch

    There's also: https://www.flytonic.com/product/sportsbook-theme/

But they don't seem to be as active of late. That theme was last updated June 2019.

Personally, I'd go with the Vegas Hero theme. At US$59 it's a very good theme.

That pop-up that pops up on every page view is very annoying too.

I agree with AussieDave, rather go a premium themed route.

Agreed, actually it's more likely to push punters away, than entice them to sign up. Non intrusive works best. If you can set up a clean site, with easy to follow and unique information, which appeals to you audience, your sure to gain a following.

Set yourself apart from everyone else, because following everyone else, is more of the same white noise!

"<" is one of the code errors (its from this html statement code: <<!-- MailMunch for hxxp://MyFreePick.com -->)

    Statement code should be:
    <!-- MailMunch for hxxp://MyFreePick.com -->

Not sure what's worse, 10sec and < or 10 secs and blank white page.

Default Could do well with Full page width

Full page width would be better, as it can relieve visitors from page cluttering.
It is more easy on their eyes.

Consider to remove youtube video from the top of your page. Move it down and load it with lazyload. Google will like that.
