    Default Sheriff Games

What is going on at Sheriff Games ? Their licence has now been suspended by Alderney, and it appears that licensees are removing their games post haste as they would have to do. I got an email from Lucky Jar who ingeniously stated that they are removing the games to make way for new exciting ones. Really Now

Is this the end for Sheriff Games. I know the parent company was fined for something to do with operating in the Netherlands. It was €100k if im not mistaken.

Does anybody have a contact that can shed more light on this ?

They've released a press release in response to the suspension :

This is interesting since they won their appeal again BetSoft, and in fact the release I read (at sheriffgaming) stated that the court found that BetSoft had manipulated evidence:
The Court of Appeal explicitly stated within its summary, that Betsoft presented a report at court while it knew the basis/data on which that report was based had been manipulated, and therefore the ruling found that Betsoft was never in a position to claim infringement, or even have a reasonable suspicion that it’s IP-right had been infringed by Bubble Group.

It was Betsoft Rick, not BetOnSoft...two totally different companies.
