    Default Site review request

    Hi all

This is one of my first posts here and what better way than to start by asking for a favour that will lead to critism (hopefully constructive)

Could i kindly ask you to take some of your precious time to support a site review for www.iloveplayingpoker.com

Some things, I am aware of, but with a full time job to boot, I have not had enough time to apply - but im nearly ready to move over on a full time basis and no better time than the present to get feedback from those the very people I'm hoping to emulate.

Kind regards and thanks in advance

    Dinos

First thing - I got a pop up with this message: This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js.

I did not click the ok button so don't know what type of download I would have initiated.

This pop up appears every time I open a new page on your site...

This appears to be a Betfair generated script. Whatever the reason for this pop up - it's very annoying and would send me running if I were a customer.

I'm running Firefox in case that makes a difference.

As a result of the annoying pop up I only looked at a couple pages. The site is clean, well laid out and the content looks to be well written.

    Hi Dinos,

Welcome to GPWA, and also to Everest Affiliates (you should have received a welcome email from me the other day as well).

Like thepokerkeep was saying, I also get that pop-up message. I think the first and most important thing to do is work on getting rid of that pop-up-it will be a major problem to keep customers on the site if they have to deal with pop-ups, and will also make them suspicious of the site.

I would also suggest more content on the main page. Right now, after the "poker site downloads" section, there's a lot of empty space below. My advise would be to push the banners section down below and put in some unique, interesting content between that and the Welcome section. I think the addition of that section would also greatly help with SEO if it was about the game of poker, or bonuses, or general player incentives-whatever your trying to rank high with.

    Hope that was helpful!

Welcome Dinos, glad to see you here at last.

    All good points so far.

The front page could certainly do with some original content placed above the banners, this will help tremendously both with SEO and visitor retention.

Other than that, the site looks pretty crisp and clear and is very substantial.

You have a good future in this industry and i feel that you will become more active and successful in the coming months.
