    Default small & large affiliates

so my tricky question is when does a small affiliate becomes a large one?
How would you or gambling company measure that?

This really depends on the gambling company, for a small online casino... their biggest affiliate would still be considered small for a large online casino because of the massive budget differences etc between them. Are you asking purely in terms of revenue?

    thanks for your input.
I really don't know it what terms I ask - revenue, clicks, impressions, depositors count etc
I just want to found out when do I become "useful" for them?
for e.g. If I send like 10 depositors per month - Am I useless? etc

I agree it ALL depends! But maybe there are averages

Also my question connected to some forum posters who claim to have an agreement for banner displays (not CPC, CPA, Rev Share etc) Just banner space. At what stage, condition, situation you can become suitable to that?

There are no averages or benchmark per say - every operator will value your business differently.

Just concentrate on what you do and if you're happy, then there is no need to worry if you are considered 'big' or 'small'

I don't agree, I think it is a valid question, the guy obviously wants to start charging flat fee but doesn't know if he has enough traffic/regs/depositors to have any bargaining power with the aff managers

Sorta relevant I think Flat fee is a dangerous route. It will work for some people but trying to find a balance where both the affiliate and the program are happy must be extremely difficult. One party will often feel they are getting a raw deal and that doesn't help the "relationship" which is important if you want to be regarded as a "useful" affiliate.

In my opinion, the most important aspect of business is the relationships - in any line of business, not just affiliatedom - it's who you know as much as what you know. And I think if you manage and nurture the relationships well, more opportunites will come your way and you will grow the business more effectively and efficiently. It's a longer term strategy but one that, correctly managed, will bring benefits.
