    Default SOPA Explained

Today seems to be anti sopa day and the oatmeal has made this animated gif as a means to protest and educate. This was shared and does not represent my sense of humor.

The Oatmeal definitely has a very quirky sense of humor that I don't always understand, but appreciate it nonetheless.

Thanks for sharing. Now I know what it's all about

    I miss wiki though!

People are overreacting about this Wiki thing like the whole internet is down, there are other places to find information, we still used the web for this pre wiki

Someone posted on facebook last night...

What if someone posts links to warez sites on the US govt sites. Will they block their own sites?

I don't think the SOPA bill will pass, a lot of co-sponsors have already started withdrawing their support. I think a lot of it has to do with the SOPA blackouts that took place recently They were very successful in raising awareness about SOPA, and what it would do to the Internet.

I love that animated gif from the oatmeal, its so clever lol What a cute way to protest
