spamming question

I have a wordpress themed webstite. Wordpress will automatically notify various site update services such as technorati, pingomatic etc. If I post a blog several times a day and wordpress notifies these services will that eventually be considered spam by the search engines? What about updating twitter and/or facebook and other social networks automatically with the same posts?

god question...in fact this was an issue with older wordpress....now is not too bad, but i suggest to add more to the list when u ping, andhave it inative till blog is live. If u need a list if sites to ping let me know

Hey Gary, have you tried the twitter plugin for WP? It automatically updates your twitter account with the latest post along with a tinyurl to the post. The plugin is called Twitter Connector.

Actually wordpress are easily crawled by Google but make a daily post with one entry only and as much as possible write a quality content instead of quantity.

Google usually looks at these as duplicate content, googlebot will index most all of them, but will only display one source for most 'normal' searches. (normal being a search not designed to bring up the post from all the different networks.)

Bing has been doing some interesting stuff displaying social media.
