    Default Sportech shut down?

    Er.. anyone know what's going on with Sportech? Just went to their website to log in and was greeted with this message:

    "The Vernons.com affiliate programme is now being managed by NetPlayAffiliates, please click here to visit NetPlayAffiliates"

    News to me. Did anyone get an email about it? I double checked my inbox and spam folder and couldn't find anything.

    Oh.. it looks like you can still log in to the back end by going to https://partners.sportechaffiliates.com (no idea how long that will last though). Might be worth grabbing your player databases just to be on the safe side.

    Cheers luke. They're moving quickly then if it's only been a few days since the sale...

    From the NetPlay aff site it looks like it's also running on IA (as was Sportech) - anyone from Income Access know anything about it they care to share?

    I received the following email to my player account:

    "We've had some exciting changes over here at Vernons.com that we need to tell you about, so please take a quick moment to read through this email. It won't take long and it's very important to us that you do.

    From the 6th November 2013 Vernons.com will be owned and operated by NetPlay TV instead of Sportech (Alderney) Limited. NetPlay TV is the UK's largest TV gaming company, operating the renowned SuperCasino.com and Jackpot247.com brands in partnership with ITV and Channel 5. NetPlay TV are licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, just as Sportech has been during your membership of the Vernons.com site, and are a highly reputable eGambling operator subject to the same regulations, restrictions and controls as Sportech. They are also registered as a data controller with the Guernsey Data Protection Commissioner and in future will be responsible for processing your personal data.

    Thankfully it doesn't affect you as a player too much, we just need to make you aware of a few things:

    Firstly, the site and will still be accessed through the xwww.vernons.com web address and you won't notice any difference when you next use your account, everything will be where you left it, including your balance! The only real change that's being made is that unfortunately we will no longer be offering our Poker network, which will close at the same time.

    What you will notice is a pop-up screen when you login, asking you to read and accept the new terms and conditions and privacy pages on the website. You'll find all the details that you need about any changes right there, including the transfer of your balance to NetPlay TV, so please do read them carefully. However, don't worry, if you haven't already accepted the new terms by 4th December 2013 then you'll be deemed to have accepted them by default.

    So that's it, quite simple really. If you've got any questions at all, wish to close your account or would like to know more about what's happening, just get in touch with our customer service team using the usual details on our Contact Us page on the website, which hasn't changed.

    So the poker site is shutting down.. bloody hope the bingo site is staying as that's where most of my players are.

    I've only just put vernons bingo on after they changed from littlewoods ages ago, just my luck at the minute lol

    Hi All,

    As you are all aware Sportech has sold Vernons as well as the Sportech Affiliate Programme to NetPlay. Over the next month, NetPlay will be migrating current Vernons affiliates into the NetPlay affiliate programme under a ”Vernons” merchant. Your players will remain tagged to you affiliate account and you will continue to earn commissions on all players you have forwarded to Vernons.

    As NetPlay is on Income Access software as well, the transition will be smooth for all.

    Look out for communications over the next week with further details, and NetPlay is very excited to build strong and long lasting relationships with all affiliates in the current Sportech programme.

    Just checked my NetPlay account, didn't find Vernons tracking links inside... its not clear what is going on with Vernons migration,
    Its a shame...

    has anyone been able to make contact with any of the affiliate managers at NetPlay Affiliates re: Vernons Bingo? I've contacted twice now and no reply, including trying to set up meeting at LAC.

    Are Net Play usually quite communicative? I've not heard a word out of them since they took over - seems odd?

    haven't heard a thing from them. My guess is they bought it but haven't got around to doing anything at all with it on the affiliate side. No idea what netplay are usually like as they were just a very good software company rather than an operator. Anyone has to be better than sportech though, who were unbelievably hopeless and badly run. There may come a point when i'm gonna have to remove this crap old legacy brand from my site totally.

    Apologies for earlier empty posts but needed to post 5 times to then send the below.

    As you may or may not know, NetPlay TV has recently acquired Vernons Casino. We are currently in the process of integrating the Vernons casino and affiliate software platform with NetPlay TV’s platform as we speak. As a result, you may notice that certain reports in the Vernons affiliate backend will not function or report as normal. This is expected and is only temporary. The integration process is a very big procedure and we are working on it.

    Rest assured, please note that all of your previous and current tracked players and revenue generated are still recording properly and you will not lose any of them during the integration process. We have already paid all the Vernons Affiliates for November 2013 earnings who met the minimum payout requirement, and December will be the same. So please continue promoting Vernons as normal.

    Once we have fully integrated the two platforms we will be sending out a welcome package with all the affiliate information you will need.

    Can you please explain what will happened to old accounts we had for Vernons casino at sportechaffiliates.com ? Was it migrated already ? because I didn't receive any migration notice email.

    Also, when I login to my NetPlay Account I see no traffic to Vernons casino but I guess this will be resolved once you complete the integration right ?

    I can log in to my old sportech account using the URL given on the previous page (https://vernons.netplayaffiliates.com/login.asp) - that seems to be tracking impressions/clicks/signups as normal.

    How's everyones rev been since the switch? Mine seems lower for both Dec and Jan, but that could just be natural variation and I don't have a huge amount of accounts there... but with the timing I'd be interested to know how the rest of you are doing.
