Sportsbook.com refunds all Green Bay Packers bets (no US Players)

For any NFL fans out there this is pretty cool.

After the horrible botched call in the Packers-Seahawks game last night that led to the Seahawks extremely controversial win, Sportsbook.com refunded all Green Bay Packers bets.

Pretty cool to see a sportsbook do this, what do you all think?

My understanding is they're only refunding bets made outside of the U.S., which is a small percentage of their handle. Bets made inside the U.S. are not being refunded.

If I had bet on Greenbay, I would be mad about not receiving my money, as that was clearly an interception. This continues to be the wackiest season in recent history.

I'm still pretty annoyed about the whole thing. I'm in an NFL confidence league where you pick the winner of every game each week. If the Packers had won, I would have had the top score for the week. Instead I got second and a big fat nothing!

Pretty cool they refunded anything actually. I tried to get my book to split it with me as I had quite a few dollars on the game but no dice! Done with betting NFL till the real ref's are back! The Sunday night game was almost as bad. I had teh Pats and the ref's almost made me lose that one too!

The referees are sure getting paid peanuts when you consider how much money is bet on NFL every game and how valuable the league is. Although I don't watch American football I heard about the missed call and it seems fans lost too much respect.

Well I think the season is starting to get back to normal, however for the occassional call which is suspect or disputed, it give the announcers as well as the fans a lot more ammunition and points of discussion.

The game time (overall) is back in line where it should be and there have been less mistakes as far as the rules themselves since the permamnent refs have a more thorough understanding of the rules.
