    Default Summer Plans?

Wondering what king of plans everyone has for the summer. Work? Conferences? Vacation? etc.

Myself, I am currently on a houseboat in the 1000 Islands for the first real break since last year albeit still working but in a much more relaxed environment. Next month will be iGB Amsterdam, September SBC Lisbon and then November Malta for a couple weeks including SiGMA. The year is over.

Hope to get some other R&R time in between.

It sounds like a dream place to work and recharge before those trips.

As for me, I don’t have any vacation plans. I feel like the first half of the year flew by in the blink of an eye, and I’d like to hit certain goals in the upcoming semester, so I need to do extra work towards them.

A fortnight's holiday for me in August, first week in Spain and the second week in the UK - very much looking forward to it.

We like to enjoy the good weather at home during the summer, and then travel abroard when the weather is bad at home and there are less crowds.

We've done more and more of this over the last few years. Makes a huge difference to be away during the grey months and get some sunshine.

Sounds like you have an exciting summer lined up! Houseboating in the 1000 Islands sounds like a wonderful escape, even with work. Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Malta all in the lineup — that's quite the travel itinerary! Enjoy your adventures and hope you find some well-deserved R&R in between all the excitement.

Similar, especially in recent years when July/August heatwaves have become common in Europe. I don't want to go on holiday in 40 degree plus heat so prefer going away over cooler months now, it is also cheaper and less crowded so a win all around.

Hello. I am planning to go to a casino in Malta this summer. I am nervous because it is my first time to go to Malta. I hope to enjoy the wonderful nature in Malta. Also the food there will be very nice. Thank you very much.

I'll be going to iGB Live, then to a family vacation in Greece shortly afterwards and SBC Lisbon in September.

I am "dreading" the July weather in Greece, but that was the only time when our friends could go as we are going together and they are flying in from Switzerland.

Next summer, it's June + September (my favourite summer month).

My summer plans include launching a new website and managing my property on Airbnb. Plans for a proper vacation in Q4 of 2024.

Summer is over and the kids are back in school here in the UK. I have probably eaten more pick and mix than I should have, for anyone in the UK you'll love these Sweets Direct but now back to work, time to knuckle down and get some work done. I have a couple of website to optimize, always something to do.
