    Hi all,

so far from being a tech its like I'm on the moon and even I can tell you the reward is .... switching your aff codes for ones they can get credit.

people searching for your site ..... find their scrape ... and click links and join casinos under their aff codes.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

Should have mentioned when I started this thread what page I found this one on. For the search phrase online+gambling+poker I found xxxwww.78y.net/nph-6.cgi/001000A/http/www.onlinegambling.com on page 9. I rechecked today past page 30 and was unable to locate. No definitive answer whether or not the site is still ranking in the google serps. But google still has the site indexed.

In regards to GamesandCasino I spent a few hours searching for various phrases located in your source code. I found nothing in this limited search. But when I searched for 78y.net”gamesandcasino.com” I do find the following indexed page:

    Casino Games - GamesandCasino.com

Leading online authority for casino games and online gambling. Visit us for in-depth online casino and game reviews, free casino online games and articles ...xxxwww.78y.net/nph-6.cgi/001000A/http/www.gamesandcasino.com - 15k - Cached - Similar pages

I am not sure if the indexed page has any serp ranking or not. I did however find the usual BS from 888, cpays, empire, or their affiliates.
Another search 78y.net+online+gambling I found all sorts of different sites. I can only conclude that this relatively new malicious scraper tool affects many webmasters sites. I think the googlebot is missing it because in the HTML there is well known google hack. But I am confident it won’t take long for the techs at google to catch it soon.

So why would someone do this? Considering the search phrase for online+gambling+poker was located on page 9 with the whole site hijacked the reward is quite significant. The target was onlinegambling.com and all linking partners, aff banners, content, were affected by this.

While visiting 78y I decided to punch in a few domains. To my amazement inserting a different aff tag takes seconds. As universal said don’t visit unless you are on the ball with your computer skills.

I have some idea who is behind this but will not say for fear of retribution. But I will say this issue was brought up in the past but was dismissed.
BB1 you make a very valid point. But what if you are already registered with the program and all you have to do is insert your aff tag Wouldn’t that be crazy? I am not accusing anyone in the slightest. But what if the owner of a few sites decides to do this? I have seen this before but never made it an issue.

So I think most of us agree this sort of thing is way out of line and we don’t endorse such activity.

Thanks very much everyone for taking the time to have a look! Hey Rick I will be unzipping the exe soon I better saddle up!!

    Hi again all (Peter)

so is what you're saying is don't worry about it? that google will eventually take care of the problem?

....... sigh. I know its part of the online world .... but I get sooooooo tired of these cheap, low-down... scum sucking bastards stealing other people's work when they have so much more knowledge .. that they could use to increase their own worth in white-hat ways.

comes around.... goes around. whether it be online ... or in their off-line life. next time one of these scuzzbags misses a date ..... gets a traffic ticket ..... loses a dog they love .... etc. REMEMBER! you brought these awful things on yourselves by your actions in the rest of the ways you go about life.

Not entirely sure bb. Based on what I saw today some pages are still indexed but with no serp rankings. If this were the case then there is not as much to worry about. I agree pretty scummy stuff. Just donít have the time to look into it further.

Maybe it is best to let karma take care of it lol.

I never get pop ups but I did today for Party Poker.

Thank you Greek, that is what I was looking for. I went to

    http://www.google.com/search?q=78y.n...e7&rlz=1I7GGIC

    I reported it.

PS. Stay away from the first listing unless you have a good firewall and virus defense. It tries to implant some crap on your computer.

No problem Dominique the pleasure is mine. Thanks for reporting it to google. I will be reporting the site to Zone-H plus a few other agencies and hopefully this thing will go away.

Not sure exactly what type of virus is running. Universal sent me the exe file I will have a look tomorrow. Quite the marathon session yesterday. The nice weather is finally here I will be spending the remainder of the day outdoors.

    Still a problem?

    Search String Google: online+gambling+poker

    Current result 91

After click off pop ups Party Poker and Empire Poker. I think the EXE exploit generates pop ups for these two brands.

Not sure if this is harmful or not (as google rankings)? But as I didn't submit to this place, I'm naturally thinking the worst.

I did check it out. Fortunately I've got popup blockers and another proggy that stops dodgy JS/activeX's from causing damage. I received a barrage of blocked popup sound. Finally these stopped to reveal a site that touted it self as some proxy anonymiser...With a lot of casino/poker banners...At that point I started to get worried...

Did a whois and it seems it's owned by some Russian dude. Hosting in the US. Maybe though that's all spoofed?

Would some mind elaborating on what's with this site and what are the dangers of my URL being associated to it?

    Cheers

These bastards are fetching website's homepage through a script and have gotten that page indexed in the SERPs for a very competitive keyword.

So basically with that they could have used some server side scripting to pop in a sidebar, header, footer and hey presto another user's site inside THEIR site with a URL that is somewhat "Search Engine friendly".

They possibly spamdexed the URL in other sites. Shady buggers.
