I just decide to create this post to publicly demonstrate my appreciation for bet365.

I work together with this fantastic affiliate program since a few years, have some affiliate managers and one point on common is the "always ready to help" not only to start promoting but even on payments or on especial requests.

So, I want to thanks to:

and all other's this years help me a lot.

I was helped in the early days by Greg@bet365 who then moved on to ladbrokes.

Bet365 definitely get my vote for one of the very top programs to work with.

for god sake, is there a program you do like?

Bet365 has been my best revenue performing program by a mile, it's been negative about twice in 4 years on top of my head. Karl was my manager and was top draw, could sit and booze with him all day, now he has handed the reigns to Jon and so far so good.

apart from the negative rev (which I found you're very unlucky to hit due to the quality of the product) I can't see how anyone could call out that program

I do wish they'd step into line with the other affiliate programs and offer no neg carryover, it would make a big difference to a lot of people, but such is life.

Think about it this way. If you owned bet365 would you consider offering "no negative carry over" as a good business decision?

Yes. I personally would send them the majority of my traffic, many others would, too.

You should ask yourself if it's a good business decision to send your top traffic to a bookmaker that does NOT guarantee you you'd get paid for it at all.

I was negative with them just once - a player put me deep red 5-digits. I pulled them from all my websites and didn't even bother to log in to the affiliate program for about an year. When I did, that player actually made me a small profit in the end, but these kinds of numbers are no good when you actually run a business and have expenses to pay.

The problem is that, while Bet365 is a decent program (pays [somewhat] on time, doesn't seem to shave), they are not a good partner or at least not to me. When I got that big winner - I contacted them about removing it from my account. It's something my partners with negative CO have done in the past. After all, the bookmaker can comfortably sit on the player 3-6-12 months until he turns profit (and then they don't have to share), but I can't be without the income for such period. Well, Bet365 didn't want to hear about it. It doesn't appear that Bet365 is willing to actually partner with the affiliate.

It is just a disclaimer for those that do not know they have a negative carry over, once you're in the red for 5 digits it is difficult to even it out again.

I wish I was warned beforehand as last payment was in 2011...........

I have no doubt that the program has a good overall reputation but NCO does not bring food on the table if you have lucky punters.

It isn't like these things aren't explained in their terms. I understand for affiliates with a small player base it isn't great but their products are top notch, support is good, they don't shave and their retention is the best I have seen. Plus because they are so huge now it's very easy to convert traffic interested in betting by just placing them on bet365's site.

You've just described about a dozen EU-facing programs. There is really nothing that separates Bet365 from a few other decent bookmakers. Now, no carry-overs would certainly make them the most attractive program, at least in my eyes.

I still fail to understand the reluctance of affiliates to constantly advocate no carry-overs, it's mind boggling. I understand if newbies do it, they clearly haven't seen the consequences of a large carry-over, but when it comes from people who have been doing this for a while - it's just weird.

As far as small player base, I will give you a priceless advice - size of player base doesn't matter the least bit. I'll take 2 whales over 200 recreationals any time.

I'm sure it could be read many ways, but I remember a few years ago Bet365 making a big deal about webmasters targeting bet365-related searches.

I guess "bet365 free bet review" is fine, but number of people searching for that term, compared to just "free bets", is miniscule.
