I'm new to iGaming affiliate. Launched my first website 3 months ago.

Nice to meet you all.

I was wondering what traffic sources you guys were using?

Many affiliates use a number of different sources, and there is no main "single" source except google, SEO.

Be sure to have a look through many of the various forums here at the GPWA many sources are revealed in responses to various topics. You most likely want to read the seo, chatter box and freshman forums the most.

I’m actually working on my acquisition strategy and wanted to make sure I am considering all the main traffic sources.

For now I can think of:
SEO / GEO
Search ads (with cloaking)
Display ads (Google / Microsoft Ads)
Reddit organic comments
Reddit Ads
Own subreddit
Meta ads
Facebook groups
X ads (if you like bots)
YouTube videos
Telegram / Discord / private channels

Am I missing any of the common ones?

Please note that several of the options on your list (such as advertising on Meta) have significant disadvantages. It's not that you can't use them, but I recommend you research the pros and cons thoroughly before investing your resources there.

Welcome to the board, Glock! �� Since your site is still pretty fresh (3 months is young in this industry), SEO is going to be your long-term best friend, but it requires patience. Personally, I focus heavily on organic traffic, but I’ve also experimented with PPC and social media for quicker results. What specific geos (countries) are you targeting? That usually dictates the best traffic source.

Congrats on launching your first site — the first few months are always the hardest, so it’s cool you’re already diving into traffic sources.
From my experience, what works really depends on the type of content you’re pushing, but a few reliable channels for beginners are:

• Reddit communities (if you participate naturally and avoid dropping links immediately)
• Quora answers — long term but brings targeted visitors
• SEO — even basic on-page tweaks start showing results after a while
• Telegram/Discord groups in your niche
• Twitter — surprisingly decent for building early visibility if you post consistently

I also tested small runs of native ads just to see how different audiences react — sometimes even $20–30 gives useful data.
Curious what niche your project focuses on? Might help suggest more specific traffic ideas.

Just remember that suggestions recommending to just use social media sources in the same way one would promote widgets, cars, dresses and jewelry do not work the exact same as promotion gambling affiliate portals.

Using some of them in the same way such as just posting a link to your site or a bs fake a friend told me about this site with a link, etc will not work. Also with some simply placing a link to your site can in fact get the social media account banned or closed.

Sure, it makes sense when someone says it and many will say they would never try it, you would be surprised if you knew the frequency that it happens, even in places where you never thought it would.
