Being a Muslim dominant country there is a dearth of gambling sites accepting Turkish traffic.

The problem with Turkish traffic is for me quite low conversions (esp. ratio registrations/realmoney players). Another problem is that not all bookies accepting Turks have Turkish language and those in EN do not convert. And from the bookies that offer Turkish language only so-so convert the ones with TRL currency and the payout methods for Turks. It really does not help to offer them neteller payouts and banners in $ currency.

As i know, there is one more serious problem with Turkish traffic. Existing Turkish government try to block all gambling related websites (casino, sportsbooks, affiliate sites and affiliate programs) without any court decision.

It is not a problem at all. The big brands simply redirect websites every few weeks and Turkish traffic knows more and more how to use VPN's or change DNS. The only problem here is for us, because we see part of the Turkish traffic as americans. It is vital to use geotaregtting via browser detection as well.

Some of my sites were blocked in Turkey as well. I believe the blocks happen not without court decision or that they are unlawful. I have translated what I see there when site is blocked and it implies the block is based on law. In dictatorships there is always law. Nazi Germany or USSR were lawful states. Just the law was not democratic.

It is just a matter of few years and we will see the blocks everywhere. It already happens in UK etc. Dystopia is coming. And only the few people who will understand what is going on will make cash on circumventing.
