    Default UK casino white list

Does anyone have a list of the casinos that are UK approved by the UK Gambling Commission? Unless I missed it on the site.

The Gambling Commission was set up under the Gambling Act 2005 to regulate commercial gambling in Great Britain.
It tells us what juristiction they are in but I am confused on which casino is located where and which are approved.

Question for AM's. Are you approved by the UK Gambling Commission and on the White List? Could you explain to me what exactly it means for you?

    Thank you.

    Hey Paula

To my knowledge if you're advertising to UK residents you can only advertise casinos on the whitelist. If they are licensed by a whitelisted jurisdiction, they are "on the whitelist."

Malta is one of the whitelisted jurisdictions which means Casino Action and Quatro Casino are both on the whitelist.

    Cheers

I tend to use www.online.casinocity.com for getting lists of where casinos are hosted, just click the appropriate jurisdiction and it lists who is hosted there.
Re what the White list does, as far as I can see it simply allows them to actively advertise in the Market on tv, mags, google adwords, outdoor etc. Anyone can take players but White listed casinos are only allowed to promote.

Oh and if you want to do ppc here then your site must only have whitelisted casinos amongst other requirements

Thanks Renee. That is what I'm looking for. Although I'm still confused lol.

I know that if you target UK you can only use the white list according to the law. We all want to follow the law, no matter where. But finding the proper casinos is a bit confusing. For example, Rewards has 23 casinos but you are saying that only Casino Action and Quatro are white listed.

Good to know for starters and those are two quality casinos.

I think my next question would be, do affiliates know which casinos (not juristictions) to promote on the UK white list? Embarrassed to say I don't lol.

What people often refer to as the white list is actually made up of products regulated in the UK, the EU or an approved white listed jurisdiction.

UK law states that advertising in any form - including text links on websites - that is made available to 1 or more people in the UK must be regulated in a "white listed" jurisdiction. The law also states that the rules will not be enforced outside of the UK - so if you live in canada (for example) and have a site which targets the UK, you will not be pursued. However, If you have a UK domain name, or hosting in the UK then you can be pursued - or at least your domain/hosting can be.

There are also a couple of other requirements such as linking to gamcare. I keep this page updated if you want more info: http://www.goodbonusguide.com/genera...hite-list.html

As for white listed sites, any site which is white listed will usually state it on their home page or display the logo of malta etc... For a few quick ones, all of the ones on my site (http://www.goodbonusguide.com) are white listed (unless you're from outside the EU and then you might see the occasional non-white listed banner, but this only applies to the banners - all reviews, lists etc are on the up and up).
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.

Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding on Dan - see the list here. Prices negotiable, and willing to swap for decent links.
