Rich media is a digital advertising term for an ad that includes advanced features like video, audio, or other elements that encourage viewers to interact and engage with the content. Hey mate,

Rich Media had much more in store, and it also has much more to offer, as opposed to all of the standard methods if advertising. The most important thing and what really makes Rich Media so enriching and wonderful, is the fact that it is very interactive for the users involved

Having media rich content usually refers to a ‘richer’ experience. We use the term in the industry to express any content that is there to interact or engage with the reader. It most commonly comes in the form of videos, radio/audio podcasts etc.
