Thanks for the informative post Dhayman. This is really very bad for the administration to block our transactions related to gambling. First Mastercard and then Visa. What the HELL is going on man... Administration is playing a dirty game with online gamers. Are we going to lose our FREEDOM OF CHOICE? Afterall it's our money and we can spend that in any avenue I want.

If the administration is so spooky about gambling then why aren't they blocking the Land-based-Casinos? This is totally unacceptable and outrageous.

I thought that Obama is in favor of Online Gambling. Moreover, these online pursuits are going to bring in a lot of valuable dollars to the cash-starved Government coffers. Then what's the problem in scraping UIGEA?

Very interesting to see if this is true. We always knew where MasterCard went Visa would follow.
We will see if we can get more information and confirm Visa transactions are not working.

Its obvious we need an industry surge on getting info out on just how people CAN get things done.

Anybody know if the prepaid cards work? I'm thinking they'd be by far best option.

if you want to have repeat customers, you don't tell them how to spend their prepaid money.

then also we need to get word out how folks can get paid when they win, because it'll be different than the way it went in (most likely).

This recent ban has got to be isolated to the US players. I haven't heard any complaints or demands from our processors in Europe (for non US players).

Visa and MC both have restrictions within their T&C's regarding gambling transactions. And both companies are heavily invested in the US. The fact they have decided to begin enforcing their terms by blocking gambling transactions should not come as a surprise. What I find surprising is that it took this long for them to do it. The last thing either company wants is to have to defend a lawsuit brought by the US Government.
