Visiting Malta

I know that some people here are located in Malta. I'm going to be stopping in Valleta during a cruise later this month. Looking for any suggestions or tips you might have for a day visit to Valleta. Thank you

Depending how you like to spend your days...Have a walk around Upper Barakka Gardens for views over the Bastions and the Grand Harbour - looks amazing.. Shopping on a couple of the main streets is good, stop for lunch one of the Piazza's and have some traditional Maltese food..

There's also lots to see, St Johns Co Cathedral as well as Fort St Angelo, Many Museums... or search out the Malta Experience if you want to have something planned and pre arranged depending on how much time you have.

Worth checking out the old part of Valletta and grabbing a coffee and enjoying the sites... In and around Valletta area you will see things to do. St. Julians is also nice but unsure if there will be much for you to do for a day stop as it really picks up here in the evenings.

Its a beautiful region. Valletta always has something going on. There are also some really nice estates from families that used to live there. Very nice vibe in some of them.

Just go around the city.
You will enjoy it at this time of the year

Valetta's quite small, pretty sure you'll be able to find the beach during the day and a club during the night, and you'll walk down these beautiful streets anyways, so it'll be really hard to miss something worthy.

You should go see Mdina, it is a fantastic city up on a hill
