Congratulations.
Some friends were in the World Cup and enjoyed the friendliness of the people in New Zealand. So I'll see to be there during the 4 nations.
I have my thoughts about how the referees during all the tournament pleased the All Blacks, but that is history.
MacCaw gave a terrible knee to Morgan Parra, and nothing happened.
For much less than that other players received a red card.
Again, congratulations to the All Blacks and Zealanders!

You had to sweat on that win in the end. I think everyone expected it to be easy, but that was far from it. Best team won it - well done!

All Blacks win Rugby World Cup - beating France 8-7 in the Final
Probably the perfect result. It gives New Zealand the win that they desperately wanted AND probably deserved on the basis of their performances throughout the tournament ...
... but it also removes nearly all the silly patriotic ranting up too - as all but the dimmest of fans could plainly see that there was NOTHING in this final match and either side could have won.
Congratulations to New Zealand -
Commiserations to France. With the 2015 Rugby World Cup being held in England (with some games in UK and France) perhaps that will be the time for France to finally win the golden cup that they've come so close to.

Great game!! Congratulations to New Zealand for the championship!! 8 -7 is pretty damn close but you pulled it out!! I watched 2 games in the whole World Cup and the final was one of them! It started at like 2am on Sunday for us!
