    Default Web Hosting Providers

I am trying to find a new web host provider as my current one is slow and I've had issues with them.

Just looking for recommendations on those providers who will allow gambling / casino content.

I heard hostgator isn't an option?

I'm a current GoDaddy customer.. and their service is terrible... slow and they did a migration for me and buggered up one of my sites.

    Thanks.

Hi sunsation72, you can always try Host Gator - www.hostgator.com

They're great to deal with and we've never had any trouble with them. Even for gambling and casino content. They also very affordable and cheap.

ok thanks. Good to know. Their T&C talks about gambling sites so it wasn't really clear. They have a good reputation too.

They have a strict "no gambling" policy.

Hostgator is slow **** with strict T&C
Unacceptable material on our servers include without limitation: Lottery/Gambling Sites

Yep, many hosting providers now have the 'no gambling sites' rule in the terms and conditions.

We got kicked off WordPress (the premium hosted service) in 2016 because of it. Thankfully they gave us time to export everything to another provider but it was a right pain.

Take a look at knownhost. They don't allow "illegal gambling sites", but affiliate sites are OK. Anyway, I've been with them for over a year now and have no complaints.

I'd look at what your (established) competitors are using/ what the big players in your niche are using. This is a good tool: http://whois.domaintools.com/.

A quick look for me leads to these companies:

Siteground is a pretty serious company. They are getting bigger each year.

It depends what your target market is. We know plenty of hosts who have no issues if you're promoting to regulated markets (eg: UK) but take issue at grey-area ones.

Particularly with hosting companies based in the US you'll find that they may be OK with gambling sites aimed at the EU, but not anything that involves the US.

So... what country are you targeting?

Also a bit of info about the type of hosting would be good. Is it simple html, a complex custom design, or a wordpress site with a million plug ins? And are you talking 5 visitors a month or 500,000?

10 years is a very long time. There has to be some sort of a misunderstanding on their part.

I think that you should speak to them if you haven't already, and see if you can come to some sort of a reasonable outcome.
