Hi I would like to no if u guys think 3000 hits a week from search engines alone is a good number of hits to a website gaming portal? What would u guys consider a good number of search engine hits for a website. Is 5000 search engine hits a week a good number of hits as well?

Depends on the quality and the search keywords, if you could get 5000 hits a week for good casino keywords then you would be on a winner and making over 100k a month.

Hmmm... just out of curiousity, are we talking about hits or unique visitors?

I agree with this statement. And here is something else to remember as well: Be careful of the use of the word "free" on an online gambling portal. If you are getting lots of hits for "free blackjack" or "free slots" or "free poker games" or any other casino game with "free" attached in any way, you will not have very many conversions. Few, as a matter of fact. Surfers key in the term, let's say, "free slots," and that is exactly what they are looking for. If they cannot find the free slots games that they are looking for at your site, they will go from one site to another until they find what they want. So, if you only want your visitors to play free slots at your site and nothing else, this is fine. But, generally, these visitors have no intention of spending any money at a casino.

He does have a point. However, if you are a webmaster using per real money conversion or CPA percentage you should remember that free accounts do convert to real money. Not all of them do and not right away but this can be profitable over time. A good idea when it comes to casino/gambling advertising is triggering either a specific casino or bonus offers. Many surfers looking for bonus offers are looking because they are about to make a deposit - this is great for converting downloads to deposits right away!..good luck

I agree with the previous posts in that it is dependant upon why your visitors landed at your site, this will drastically effect your conversions.

5000 visitors per week looking for 'free slots' will not produce what 500 visitors per week looking for 'deposit bonuses' will and so it is a matter of weighing up your data and keeping track of your conversions.

    Good luck!

    20k hit a month=100k $ in a month.

Paying 2$ for each keyword in a PPC Campaign (but not for free keywords;free slots, etc.)

If I make a PPC campaign for a month with 40,000$ it will bring me 20,000 visitors. And 20k visitors was equal 100k.

    Deposit 40k,win 100k. (or 80k,or 70k is enough)

    Do I understand right?

PPC would not relate to the same income as direct SE traffic would. There are too many fraudulent clicks (especially when you are paying $2 / click). I don't know the numbers, but I have very seldom gotten good players from PPC campaigns.

Default 700 Hits From SEs is Outstanding

700 hundred hits from Search Engines is outstanding! 3000 is unheard of. The most I have gotten in one day to No Deposit Casino Bonuses from Google, Yahoo and msn in one day is about 400 - on my best day.

    My other Portals:
    Bonus Casinos
    New No Deposit Casinos
    No Deposit Bonuses

Humm... I have around 35000 SE hits per month, but my result is REALLY far from $100k :/
