    Hey guys

Im looking for an idea to use as the wallpaper behind the website...any ideas?
currently its white...im guessing many with lower resolutions will not end up seeing this white behind the site.

    Hey mate

I wouldn't put anything dark there..

If anything, you may want to just put some kind of pattern over the white in a really light grey or ivory colour or something... I think that will look stylish without being over the top..

Ill see if i can find an example...

OK have a look here: http://www.wetzelandcompany.com/prod...ck%20White.php

See how on the photo of the guy on the right they have put that background over the top of the colour? I think you should try something like that... but maybe keep the background white, or a light colour that goes with the greys etc...

    Default Maybe go Dark?

I actually think a deep red background (like the color that runs through the header) would really make the content pop with out being overwhelming.

I just tested it out in paint and it looked great, but I can defiantly see where Renee is coming from with the simplistic gray pattern.

Looking forward to seeing what you decide

Actually I think you have a point..

Maybe you could do a deep red background with one of those patterns through it in a lighter or darker red...

You should test out a few, take a few screenshots and post them here so we can tell you which is better..

Although I think they are both good, I like the darker one better because it's a different colour to the rest of the site... Personally I think there is too much silver/light grey with the lighter one...

Did you try the red background?

I like the lighter one. It looks more elegant and is less distracting.

I would go a lighter colour aswell, simply because it comes off friendlier.
notice google, youtube, facebook and just about any big website uses basic, friendly and easy to read colour pallets?

Just set up them both though and test the stats, im sure 1 will be more successful than the other.

I think I like the silver one better, though I still think a dark red would be really nice

I made a mini wallpaper. Mainly from frustration of no response from pantasia
I think I'm slowly going crazy and bloodythirsty lol

But on more serious note, I think with your domain you should go for nice dark red/black pattern of spades or cherries nomnom or white grey spade pattern could work too. you should check out graphicriver.net for some nice little bits and pieces.

I like the silver to. I also noticed the background on the home button (on the home page) stays on when hovering over the other links.
