Newsletter for Affiliate Program Managers
Hello,
I periodically publish a newsletter for affiliate program managers. The purpose of the newsletter is to inform affiliate program managers about what's new at my site, where my site ranks at the major search engines for my targeted keyphrases, planned improvements, and any other tidbits that I think may be useful for affiliate program managers.
I'd like to solicit feedback from affiliate program managers about the newsletter. Here is a link to the latest one, which has links to all other affiliate program manager newsletters that I have published.

Here are some areas where I would like feedback:
- Which areas, if any, of the newsletter are useful/helpful
- Which areas, if any, of the newsletter are not useful/helpful
- What additional topics would you like to see included in the newsletter
- How often would you expect to receive such a newsletter
- Is this newsletter something that you would take the time to read at all
- Anything that you'd like to provide feedback on, I am eager to hear

In addition to feedback from affiliate program managers, I welcome feedback from my fellow webmasters, as well as links to similar newsletters that you may publish that are directed at affiliate program managers.
Cheers!

robertmedl,
This is a great idea and it is with much interest that I would appreciate your posting the feedback you receive.
It may be something I would like to initiate if the aff mgrs feel that it is useful to them to know what their affiliates are doing.
Of course, this is your idea, and I think I should ask how you feel about other affs jumping on your bandwagon
It seems logical that the feedback should go both ways and has to cement business relationships in a very positive manner.

Hard to judge but maybe once a month. It really depends on the content, if it is informative and captivating then easily once a week but we know that's setting yourself up for more work.

Nice newsletter...
As a non-affiliate manager, there was one thing I noticed...
Most AMs I've talked to about SEO are more interested with your traffic than your SERPs... especially if they are going to drop $200 on an ad.
Just my two cents

Thanks all
Thanks to those that took the time to review and provide feedback on the newsletter. I admit that I would like to have seen more feedback from AMs, but this, too, is useful information to me -- that information being that I need to keep searching for the types of information that AMs are really looking for from their affiliates and/or a better delivery mechanism for this information.
My key takeaways from this thread are:
- Provide demographic information about my visitors
- Publish the newsletter bimonthly rather than monthly, given the lack of interest and the time it takes to compile the newsletter
- Consider providing raw traffic information (hits, clicksthroughs, etc.)
Thanks again!
