I work from home, without an office. While it can be very convenient, it can also be very distracting.

usually home office, but go to our marketing dudes offices regularly for meeting and planning... and eating and trash talk. sometimes working from home is way too much distraction.

Both, of course. You need to have some sort of a separation between work and home

I work from home too, it's great being able to walk a few metres from the bedroom and already be at work
No traffic, and save on petrol costs too. On the downside, even when I'm not working I look at my work area and think about all the stuff that needs to be done the next day so it's hard sometimes to separate home/work.

I work from home and don't have an office. Although, by basically working from my bedroom, it means I don't have to pay business rates (I do other things as well as affiliation). Although I definitely agree with some of the comments so far, there are definitely downfalls to working from home, the main one being easy distractions!

I'VE ACTUALLY JUST READ THAT BACK AND SEEN HOW BAD THIS PART LOOKS!!!

"BY WORKING FROM MY BEDROOM, IT MEANS I DON'T HAVE TO PAY BUSINESS RATES"................

I'm a Web Developer, not a rent boy or anything haha

During the day I work in an office in the city, takes me about 25-35 mins to get there. I love the commute.

And in the evenings I have a home office.

I work from home too. But I also spend a lot of time walking to the kitchen and watching television. I'm sure I'd get MUCH more work done if I was working in an office.

I agree. There are way too many distractions at home, especially if you have every single channel on Foxtel like I do lol At the same time, if you work from home, it's hard to know when to stop working. Therefore, it's probably a good idea to separate your home life from your work life. I'm seriously thinking about hiring out an office somewhere, just so I can have somewhere to work. I think that would be a great idea, and it might even help me to get more stuff done

I work from the office for the last 6 years, but as team grows I more and more often work from home. It's quiet there, no one disturbs.

I work from home. No home office, but definitely a dream right now. I've looked into buying an outdoor storage shed, to use as an office, but I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. Doesn't really seem like a solution for the winter period. Renting a studio to work at is another option I'm considering.
